Who this guide is for
US adults who already have cash on Polymarket US because a ticket resolved or they already sold it, and who now need to send that cash off the exchange. This is not how to cash out (selling a live ticket), not how to cancel or edit an order, not how to deposit, not KYC, not how fees work, and not how to buy your first NFL ticket. Those pages are the exchange exit, the resting limit, the on-ramp, the ID check, the cost stack, and the first swipe. This page is the off-ramp after cash already exists. Polymarket is the only live outbound here.
Withdraw, cash-out, or cancel — three different actions
People mash these into one “get my money” button. Official US docs do not. Official Withdraw Funds is the cashier. Official Can I sell early? is the live-ticket exit. Official cancel help is unfilled size on the book. See prediction markets vs sportsbooks if you are looking for a house cash-out quote. There isn’t one.
Withdraw settled cash
This page — cash already exists
Official Check Your Balance: withdrawals come only from cash — money not tied to any open position. Official Withdraw Funds: that cash leaves the US desk from Profile → Withdraw → Withdraw To, and only after the deposit that funded it has fully cleared. This is a bank / card off-ramp. It is not selling a live Yes/No, and it is not canceling a resting limit.
Cash out / sell a live ticket
A different action — market still open
Official “Can I sell early?”: you can close a position while the market is still open; sale proceeds are added immediately to your cash balance. That is an exchange exit at the book, not a sportsbook cash-out button, and not a bank credit. How to cash out on Polymarket and How to sell a Polymarket ticket early cover that fill. After the sale, you still withdraw cash here.
Cancel an open order
Unfilled size — not a payout
A resting limit that has not matched is still an order, not cash and not a ticket you own. Canceling it releases reserved buying power back to the exchange balance. Official Fee Schedule: a cancel is not a trading fee. It does not send money to a debit card. That walkthrough is How to cancel or edit a Polymarket order.
Official US docs · withdraw ≠ cash-out ≠ cancel · no invented house button
What has to be done first
Withdraw is a later step. Official Check Your Balance and official Withdrawal Rules are the gates. If any of these is still open, the Withdraw control will not send cash — or should not be treated as if it will.
KYC has to be done first
Before deposit or trade
Official US docs require Know Your Customer checks before you can deposit or trade. If identity verification is still pending, there is nothing to withdraw — finish How to complete Polymarket KYC and wait for the in-app or email notice. We do not invent extra ID lists beyond what those pages ask.
The ticket has to become cash
Sold or settled — not still open
Official Check Your Balance: proceeds from sales or resolved markets return to cash automatically. Official Market Settlement: after the outcome is finalized, Polymarket Clearing sets winning contracts to $1.00, losing contracts to $0.00, and updates Portfolio when settlement completes. Close is not pay. An open Yes/No is not withdrawable. We could not verify a public minute-count from whistle to Portfolio update.
The funding deposit has to fully clear
Funds in flight are not withdrawable
Official Withdrawal Rules: deposits that show as a balance before they clear are funds in flight. You can still trade. You cannot withdraw the original deposit — or proceeds tied to it — until that deposit fully clears. Official “Why can’t I withdraw?”: instant buying power is not withdrawable buying power. Confirm available cash on the live wallet screen; we do not invent a personal clear clock.
Official US docs · KYC then clear then cash · confirm the live wallet
Where the withdraw control lives
Hard rule: if official US help names a screen, we name it. If a label is not on those pages, we describe the action and tell you to check the live wallet. Official What is Polymarket US? is the fiat desk this path belongs to.
US app — Profile, then Withdraw, then Withdraw To
Official Withdraw Funds
Official US How to Withdraw: from the home screen tap the Profile icon at the bottom center, tap Withdraw on your Profile page, then tap Withdraw To to open payout methods. That is the control those docs name. Official Website vs App: US residents deposit and trade in the Polymarket US app, not on the international website. If your live wallet labels the same action differently, use the live screen — we will not invent a second button.
Cash row, not a position card
Official Check Your Balance
Withdraw sits on cash, not on an open Yes/No and not on a working order. Official Monitor-style Portfolio views list cash separately from positions. If you still see a held ticket, you are not at withdraw yet — sell it while the market is open, or wait for Clearing. If you still see a resting limit, cancel is a different control.
Not a USDC / wallet send on the US desk
Official What is Polymarket US?
Official What is Polymarket US? splits the international crypto product from the US fiat, CFTC-regulated exchange. Official US Withdraw Funds lists debit card, bank transfer (ACH), and wire transfer. It does not list a self-custody wallet, a chain, or a USDC send. We will not paste the international withdraw flow onto this page.
Official Withdraw Funds · Profile → Withdraw → Withdraw To · confirm live screen
Rails official US docs name — and what they do not
Official Withdraw Funds names three methods. We list those three because the docs list them. We do not add a fourth. Typical arrival windows on that page are published typicals — confirm the live Withdraw To screen instead of treating a number here as your personal clock. We do not invent a bank brand.
Debit card
Named on official Withdraw Funds
Official US overview lists debit card and says funds return to the same card used for the deposit. That page also prints a typical arrival window. We reprint the method name because the docs name it. We do not invent a card brand, a posted debit minimum, or a posted debit maximum. Confirm the live Withdraw To screen before you request a payout.
Bank transfer (ACH)
Named on official Withdraw Funds
Official US overview lists bank transfer (ACH) and says funds return to the same bank account used for the deposit. Official troubleshooting: if ACH is rejected, re-link the correct bank account. We do not invent a bank brand, a same-day ACH window, or a posted ACH min / max.
Wire transfer
Named on official Withdraw Funds
Official US overview lists wire transfer and adds “contact support if needed.” We do not invent a wire-withdrawal click path beyond that line, a published wire minimum, or a published wire maximum. The $1,000 figure on official Deposit Methods is a deposit figure, not a withdraw figure we will reuse here.
Official US Withdraw Funds · no invented rail · no invented min / max / same-day ACH
The US withdraw sequence
-
Step 1
Confirm it is cash — not a live ticket and not an open order
Official Check Your Balance: cash is the money not tied to any open position. If you still hold a Yes/No, this page is early — sell it while the market is open (cash-out / sell-early) or wait for Market Settlement. If a limit is still sitting on the book, cancel that remainder first; cancel is not a withdraw. This how-to starts after the ticket has already resolved or been sold and cash is showing.
-
Step 2
Confirm KYC is done and the funding deposit has fully cleared
Official US docs require KYC before you can deposit or trade. Official Withdrawal Rules call uncleared deposits funds in flight — you can trade on them; you cannot withdraw them or proceeds tied to them. Official “Why can’t I withdraw?”: most blocked withdraws are a deposit still processing, and instant buying power (official FAQ: credited up to $50,000) is not a payout. If a deposit is still pending after 5 business days, that FAQ says to contact support. Business days exclude weekends and holidays. Confirm the live wallet — we do not invent your personal clear time.
-
Step 3
Open Profile, then Withdraw, then Withdraw To
Official US Withdraw Funds: from the home screen tap the Profile icon at the bottom center, tap Withdraw on your Profile page, then tap Withdraw To to see payout methods. Official Website vs App: that path is the US app, not polymarket.com. If the live wallet shows a different withdraw control, use the one on screen. We will not invent Apple Pay, PayPal, crypto, or other publishers’ rails.
-
Step 4
Send the withdrawal back to the original funding source — FIFO
Official Withdrawal Rules: withdrawals must return to the same payment method used for the deposit. You cannot redirect to a new or third-party account. Withdrawals are first-in-first-out. Official example: deposit $100 by debit, then $200 by ACH, and the first $100 you withdraw returns to the debit card. If that method is no longer active, contact Polymarket US Support. A publisher link is how this site is supported — it is not extra credit in your account.
-
Step 5
Read the live Withdraw To screen, then treat what leaves as risk capital you already sized
Official overview names debit, ACH, and wire and prints typical arrival windows. Those are published typicals, not a guaranteed clock we will invent as yours. Official overview is titled as withdrawing your cash balance “securely and for free”; we could not confirm a published dollar withdrawal-fee table, a standing minimum, or a standing maximum. Your bank or card issuer may charge its own fee — that number is not on the US pages we checked. Event contracts can settle at zero. Nothing here is investment advice.
US cash versus international USDC
Official What is Polymarket US? is the split. The US product trades in dollars on a CFTC-regulated designated contract market. Cash is a fiat balance. Official Withdraw Funds sends that cash back to the original debit card, ACH bank, or wire source. The international product collateralizes Yes/No in USDC (pUSD after the April 2026 upgrade on that help site). That is not this cashier.
If you are on the US (QCEX) account, do not hunt for a wallet address on this page. If you are on the international desk, this how-to does not apply — we will not invent a USDC send, a chain, or a gas figure.
Funds in flight, FIFO, and AML holds
Official Withdrawal Rules are the compliance layer, not a suggestion. Deposits that show as a balance before they fully clear are funds in flight. You can trade. You cannot withdraw. The same lock applies to proceeds from trading that used that deposit.
Withdrawals are first-in-first-out and return only to the original method. Official example: $100 debit, then $200 ACH — the first $100 out goes back to the debit card. Official troubleshooting adds that a mismatched method will fail, a stale ACH link should be re-linked, and AML reviews can temporarily delay processing. Support is support@polymarket.us or in-app chat; they ask for the exact error code.
The “Why can’t I withdraw my funds?” FAQ is the short version of the same rule: most blocked withdraws are an uncleared deposit. Instant buying power is not withdrawable buying power.
Fees — what is published, what is not
Official Withdraw Funds says you withdraw the cash balance for free. That is the cashier line we can confirm. We could not find a published Polymarket US withdrawal-fee table with dollar amounts, and we could not confirm a standing withdrawal minimum or maximum. We will not invent one.
Trading fees are a different schedule (taker fees / maker rebates on fills). They are not a withdraw fee. The formula lives on How Polymarket fees work (US). This page does not reprint that table. Your bank or card issuer may charge its own inbound fee; Polymarket US does not publish that number. Confirm the live withdraw screen.
Promo credit is not a withdraw
Official “Why can’t I withdraw my promotional credit?”: promo credits are trading credits, not cash. They cannot be withdrawn — including after you trade them or after the related position settles. Only resulting proceeds may become withdrawable, and only after you link a payment method, make an initial deposit, and that deposit fully clears. We do not publish a promo code here.
Blocked and contested states
Reported unavailable as of June 2026: Arizona, Illinois, Massachusetts, Maryland, Michigan, Montana, Nevada and Ohio. That list is not a promise it stays still — litigation around sports event contracts in particular can narrow or shift access. If you are in a listed state, do not plan a payout on the assumption the desk is open. If you are in Florida or another green-light state, still confirm Withdraw appears before you treat cash as already on its way to the bank.
Age is 18+ with identity verification. That is a different gate from the 21+ / responsible-gambling frame on our DFS pages, because these are traded financial instruments. If you also want NFL DFS, start at the picks hub — those cashier rules do not carry over. Compare platforms on the prediction-markets hub.
What you will not get from this page
A dollar welcome match, a paste-this promo code, a crypto-wallet how-to, a guaranteed same-day payout, a bank brand we invented, a published withdrawal minimum we could not find, a cloned cash-out / cancel / deposit / KYC / fees / first-ticket walkthrough, live prices, or claim buttons for Kalshi, DraftKings, FanDuel, Underdog, Sleeper, PrizePicks, Hard Rock or BetRivers. We could not verify a standing official US welcome bonus on Polymarket’s own terms. Other publishers’ partner codes are theirs; we do not copy them. The honest user-facing line is still US access via CFTC-regulated QCEX — withdraw settled cash (not a live ticket, not an open order) from Profile → Withdraw → Withdraw To back to the original debit, ACH, or wire source after KYC and after the funding deposit fully clears, and confirm the live wallet / Withdraw To screen for any rail or clock those pages do not print as yours.
