How to Use Polymarket on Mobile in the US (2026)

Official US app versus mobile web, then sign-in, KYC, deposit, Yes/No, sell early, and cash out — on a phone. Not a DFS lineup walkthrough.

By Scott · Last verified August 8, 2026

Trading involves risk — a phone does not add a floor

Polymarket offers CFTC-regulated event contracts: financial/derivatives products, not sportsbook bets and not daily fantasy. You can lose money, including your entire stake. Nothing on this page is investment advice. For adults 18+ with KYC. State availability can change. DFS pages on this site use a separate 21+ / 1-800-GAMBLER frame — do not mix the two.

Advertising disclosure: the claim button is an affiliate link. We may earn a commission if you sign up through it, at no extra cost to you. That never changes our ratings, and it is not a user bonus.

Who this guide is for

US adults who want to use Polymarket US on an iPhone or Android phone — sign in, finish KYC with a camera, deposit, buy a Yes/No ticket, sell early, and cash out. This is not how to complete KYC, not how to deposit, not how to cash out, not how to read a contract, and not how an NFL ticket grades. Those pages are the deep steps. This page is the phone path: which official app is actually listed, why mobile Safari / Chrome is not a US substitute, and where to tap so you can leave this site for the right how-to. Polymarket is the only live outbound on this page.

Official app versus mobile web

Official Website vs App (June 25, 2026) and What is Polymarket US? split the brand. The US product is a fiat, CFTC-regulated designated contract market. The international product is crypto on a chain. This how-to is the US desk, on a phone.

iPhone — official US app

Documented US on-ramp

Official US docs and the June 2026 Website vs App help article point US residents at the Polymarket US iOS app. The public US App Store listing is titled Polymarket, published by Blockratize Inc, rated 18+, Finance category, and requires iOS 18.0 or later. That is the phone path official US pages actually name. Install it from the App Store on your own Apple ID — not from a sideload, a TestFlight rumor, or a third-party “APK mirror.”

Android — confirm Play, do not sideload

Help still lagged the store

Official Website vs App help, last updated June 25, 2026, still said the Android app was coming soon on Google Play. A Blockratize Inc listing now exists on the US Play Store (package com.polymarket.android; updated August 2026) and describes itself as the Polymarket US App. Confirm that listing in your own US Play Store. If it is missing, waitlisted, or will not open a funded US account, that is an access gap — not a reason to install an APK from a browser download. We will not invent a sideload.

Mobile Safari / Chrome — not the US desk

International site ≠ US app

Official help splits the brand: polymarket.com is the international, crypto product and is not the US deposit-and-trade desk. US residents cannot deposit or place trades on that website. Official US how-tos are written for the app (Profile tab, swipe to confirm). We will not invent a mobile-Safari or Chrome US trading walkthrough those pages do not publish. Do not treat a phone browser pointed at the international site as a substitute for the US (QCEX) app.

The US mobile sequence

  1. Step 1

Confirm your state is open — then stay on the US phone path

US access is back, but it is not universal. As of our June 2026 check Polymarket was reported unavailable in Arizona, Illinois, Massachusetts, Maryland, Michigan, Montana, Nevada and Ohio. Florida is a green-light state. Sports markets are the most contested category anywhere. An NFL ticket listed nationally can still be hidden on your phone. Confirm the sports desk in-app before you send money. Age is 18+ with KYC — not the 21+ / 1-800-GAMBLER frame on our DFS pages.

  2. Step 2

Open the US (QCEX) flow through the live claim, then install only from the official store

Use the claim button on this page so you enter the compliant US on-ramp. That is the only live money CTA here. Polymarket returned to the US in December 2025 via its CFTC-licensed QCEX acquisition. On iPhone, official US pages name the App Store app (iOS 18+). On Android, confirm the official Blockratize Inc Play listing in your store — do not sideload. The international website is a different product with a different support team (support@polymarket.com vs support@polymarket.us).

  3. Step 3

Sign in on the phone with Google or Apple ID — then finish KYC there

Official US Create an Account: start with Google or Apple ID, choose a username, then give your full legal name, date of birth, and residential address. Use the name on your government ID. Most users clear automatically; if the app asks, you upload a government-issued ID and complete a selfie check. Phone cameras make that step easier in good light with no glare. Hold times are set by Polymarket, not by us. The ID and review walkthrough is How to complete Polymarket KYC — this page does not repeat it.

  4. Step 4

Deposit from Profile on the phone — then size the first ticket as risk capital

Official US Fund Your Account: from the home screen tap the Profile icon at the bottom center, tap Deposit, then Pay With. The three published US rails are debit card, bank transfer (ACH), and wire. Funds must come from an account in your own name. Limits and instant-buying-power rules live on the deposit how-to. A publisher link is how this site is supported — it is not extra credit in your account. Event contracts can settle at zero. Nothing here is investment advice.

  5. Step 5

Buy one Yes or No ticket — read the sentence, then swipe to confirm

Official US Place a Trade: browse markets on the home screen, tap one contract, choose Yes or No, enter a dollar amount or tap Max, review the order, then swipe up to confirm. Official Browse Markets: each ticket shows the question, the Yes and No prices, and a resolution date. We do not reprint a live price. Read the Yes/No sentence, the resolution source, and the deadline before you swipe — that reading lives on How to read a Polymarket NFL contract. Open Portfolio to see cash versus the open position.

  6. Step 6

Sell early while the market is open — or wait, then withdraw cash after the deposit clears

Official US “Can I sell early?”: you can close a position at any time; sale proceeds hit cash immediately. That is cash on the exchange, not a bank deposit, and not a sportsbook cash-out button. If you hold through the result, How Polymarket resolves NFL games is the grade — close is not pay. Getting cash off the desk is How to cash out on Polymarket: debit, ACH, or wire back to the original source, and only after the funding deposit has fully cleared. Confirm the live screens. Trade only what you can afford to lose.

Sign-in and KYC on a phone — then stop cloning the ID page

Official Create an Account is a short identity file: Google or Apple ID, a username, then legal name, date of birth, and residential address. Most users clear automatically. If the app asks for more, you upload a government-issued ID and complete a selfie check. A phone is the natural camera for that step — good light, no glare, the name matching the bank you will fund from. You must complete KYC before you can deposit or trade.

Hold times, “under review,” and the mismatch list live on How to complete Polymarket KYC (US). This page will not reprint that walkthrough. If you are still in review, you are looking at a phone, not trading on it.

Deposit, Yes/No, sell early, cash out — the phone taps, not the deep rails

Official Fund Your Account is Profile → Deposit → Pay With, then debit, ACH, or wire from an account in your own name. Limits, instant buying power, and wire instructions are How to deposit on Polymarket (US).

Official Place a Trade: tap a market, pick Yes or No, enter a dollar amount or Max, review, swipe up to confirm, then open Portfolio to separate cash from an open ticket. Official Can I sell early? adds that you can close anytime while the market is open; proceeds hit cash immediately. The sentence you just bought is How to read a Polymarket NFL contract. The grade after the whistle is How Polymarket resolves NFL games. Getting cash off the exchange is How to cash out on Polymarket (US). We do not reprint those rails here.

Blocked and contested states

Reported unavailable as of June 2026: Arizona, Illinois, Massachusetts, Maryland, Michigan, Montana, Nevada and Ohio. That list is not a promise it stays still — litigation around sports event contracts in particular can narrow or shift access. If you are in a listed state, do not install the app on the assumption the desk is open. If you are in Florida or another green-light state, still confirm the phone lets you finish KYC and that the market you want actually appears before you send money.

Age is 18+ with identity verification. That is a different gate from the 21+ / responsible-gambling frame on our DFS pages, because these are traded financial instruments. If you also want NFL DFS, start at the picks hub — those cashier rules do not carry over. Compare platforms on the prediction-markets hub.

What you will not get from this page

A dollar welcome match, a paste-this promo code, an APK, a sideload, a guaranteed Android waitlist skip, a mobile-Safari US trading path official help does not publish, live prices, or claim buttons for Kalshi, DraftKings, FanDuel, Underdog, Sleeper, PrizePicks, Hard Rock or BetRivers. We could not verify a standing official US welcome bonus on Polymarket’s own terms. Other publishers’ partner codes are theirs; we do not copy them. The honest user-facing line is still US access via CFTC-regulated QCEX — use the official iPhone app (or the official Play listing if your store shows it), finish KYC on the phone, then confirm live deposit, Yes/No, and withdraw screens in-app. Last verified August 8, 2026.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is there an official Polymarket US app for iPhone?
Yes. Official US docs and the June 2026 Website vs App help article point US residents at the Polymarket US iOS app. The public US App Store listing is published by Blockratize Inc, rated 18+, and requires iOS 18.0 or later. That is the documented US phone path. Install it from the App Store — not from a sideload.
Is there an official Polymarket US app for Android?
Official Website vs App help, updated June 25, 2026, still said the Android app was coming soon. A Blockratize Inc listing now appears on the US Google Play Store (com.polymarket.android) and describes itself as the Polymarket US App. Confirm that listing in your own store. If it is waitlisted or missing, official help does not publish a US Chrome trading substitute, and we will not invent an APK.
Can I just use Polymarket in mobile Safari or Chrome instead of the app?
Not as the US desk. Official help says polymarket.com is for international users and that US residents cannot deposit funds or place trades on that website. Official US how-tos are written for the app. We do not invent a mobile-browser US on-ramp those pages do not describe. Do not sideload an APK to “fix” a missing Play listing.
How do I sign in and finish KYC on a phone?
Official US Create an Account: sign up with Google or Apple ID, pick a username, then submit your legal name, date of birth, and residential address. Most verifications complete instantly. If the app asks, upload a government-issued ID and complete a selfie check. Manual review can take up to 3–5 business days. The deep ID walkthrough is the KYC how-to on this site.
How do I buy a Yes/No ticket on my phone?
Official US Place a Trade: open a market from the home screen, tap Yes or No, enter a dollar amount or Max, review the order, then swipe up to confirm. Official docs say you can cash out anytime while the market is open or hold until it resolves. We do not reprint live prices. Read the contract sentence before you swipe.
Can I sell a ticket early on mobile, or do I have to wait for the game to end?
Official US “Can I sell early?”: you can close a position at any time and do not have to wait for resolution. Sale proceeds are added immediately to your cash balance. Prices can move quickly as the event nears resolution. Selling is not a bank withdrawal. The cash-out how-to is the off-ramp after cash is sitting and the deposit has cleared.
Is this the same as the KYC, deposit, cash-out, contract, or resolution how-to?
No. Those pages are the deep steps. This page is only the phone path: official app versus mobile web, sign-in, KYC on a camera, then where to tap so you can deposit, buy Yes/No, sell early, and cash out. We link out instead of cloning those click paths.
Can I use Polymarket on my phone in every US state?
No. As of our June 2026 check Polymarket was reported unavailable in Arizona, Illinois, Massachusetts, Maryland, Michigan, Montana, Nevada and Ohio. Florida is a green-light state. Confirm the app lets you finish KYC and that the market you want actually appears before you fund.
Is there a Polymarket mobile bonus or promo code on this page?
No. We do not publish a dollar welcome or a promo code. Partner codes that appear on other sites belong to those publishers. Confirm any live terms in the Polymarket US app. If you open Polymarket through our link we may earn a commission at no extra cost to you — that is not a user bonus.
Is using Polymarket on my phone the same as placing an NFL DFS lineup?
No. Daily fantasy is a state-licensed gambling product — often 21+, with a 1-800-GAMBLER frame and (sometimes) a deposit-match rollover. Polymarket US event contracts are CFTC-regulated financial/derivatives products, typically 18+ with KYC. A contract can settle at zero. There is no protected bonus floor.

Advertising disclosure: Polymarket links are affiliate links — we may earn a commission at no cost to you, which never affects our ratings. Kalshi, DraftKings, FanDuel, Underdog, Sleeper, PrizePicks, Hard Rock and BetRivers have no live outbound claim on this page. Event contracts are CFTC-regulated financial products, not gambling. Trading involves risk and you can lose money, including your entire stake. Not investment advice. 18+. DFS pages on this site use a separate 21+ / 1-800-GAMBLER frame.
