That is the published US sentence for a result that is not finished being official. Those FAQs do not reprint Dispute, Challenge, or UMA on that line. If the league or governing body has not posted a result you can treat as official — or has that result under review — official help says the grade waits.
A protest is a governing-body fact — not a retail “Challenge” button

Official Sports FAQs ask “What about replayed or protested games?” If a game is replayed in its entirety pursuant to a protest or governing body decision before the Contract’s expiration date, the replay result governs. If the replay happens after expiration, the original result stands and a new market is created for the replayed game. That is a published event path. It is not a click labelled Challenge, Dispute, or File an appeal on the swipe we checked.

Official Market Resolution: complex events may require additional verification before resolution. Resolution still waits until the outcome is publicly confirmed. Hard split: a filled Yes/No is still a position until Market Settlement finishes. Official US help does not reprint “challenge = get your stake back.” Official Monitor Your Positions is still the row you already hold.

Official Glossary: an open position is the contracts you currently hold. Official Market Settlement: settlement begins once a market’s outcome is finalized; Portfolio updates when settlement completes. Official Check Your Balance: proceeds from resolved markets return to cash automatically. While the official result is under review, that later cash step has not run. The row is still a ticket — not a bank deposit, and not a published $1.00 / $0.00 grade you can spend.
Settlement waits — that is not the same as voided, and not the same as paid

If the book is still Open, that early exit is the published path — it is not a guaranteed fill, and it is not advice to sell. Blocked and contested states
Reported unavailable as of June 2026: Arizona, Illinois, Massachusetts, Maryland, Michigan, Montana, Nevada and Ohio. That list is not a promise it stays still — litigation around sports event contracts in particular can narrow or shift access. If you are in a listed state, do not treat an under-review line as a fill on the assumption the desk is open. If you are in Florida or another green-light state, still confirm the ticket appears before you treat a delayed grade as cash you already have.
