How to Use a Watchlist on Polymarket (US 2026)

Pin a market so you can come back without hunting. Watching is not a position, and not a tab we invent.

By Scott · Last verified August 8, 2026

Trading involves risk — a saved market is not a floor

Polymarket offers CFTC-regulated event contracts: financial/derivatives products, not sportsbook bets and not daily fantasy. You can lose money, including your entire stake. Pinning a ticket does not buy size and does not lock a price. Nothing on this page is investment advice. For adults 18+ with KYC. Sports markets are the most contested category; state availability can change. DFS pages on this site use a separate 21+ / 1-800-GAMBLER frame — do not mix the two.

Advertising disclosure: the claim button is an affiliate link. We may earn a commission if you sign up through it, at no extra cost to you. That never changes our ratings, and it is not a user bonus.

Who this guide is for

US adults who can already open a Polymarket ticket and now need to save or watch that market so they can come back without hunting — where watch / favorite / saved lives if official help names it, how to add and remove a market, and why watching is not a position. This is not how to find an NFL market, not how to read your Polymarket portfolio, not how to read price history, not how to read volume, and not how to check when a market ends. Those pages are the hunt, the filled-row screen, the chart, the volume stamp, and the clock. This page is only the pin. Then we link out. Polymarket is the only live outbound on this page.

Where watch / favorite / saved lives

Hard rule: if official US help names the control, we name it. If it does not, we describe the action — star, follow, or save. Official Place a Trade is tap to open the ticket. Official Monitor Your Positions is Portfolio, not a bookmark list. Official Website vs App splits the international site from the US desk.

Official US help does not reprint a Watchlist tab

No named retail header

Official Browse Markets, Official Place a Trade, Official Monitor Your Positions, and Official Glossary do not reprint a retail tab, tile, or definition labelled Watchlist, Favorites, Watch, or Saved on the swipe we checked. Official Website vs App: US residents browse and trade in the Polymarket US app, not on polymarket.com. We will not invent a home-screen Watchlist chip those pages do not print. If the sports desk is hidden where you live, stop.

The action is on the opened market — star, follow, or save

Describe the action

Official Place a Trade: tap any market to open it. That opened ticket is where you look for a control that pins the market so you can reopen it later. Official US pages we checked do not name that control. If the live US app shows a star, a follow, a bookmark, or a save, use that live label. If the control is missing or named differently, stay on the ticket and do not hunt a header we invent.

The list — if the live app shows one — is not Portfolio

Confirm the live screen

Official Place a Trade: open the Portfolio tab to track a position and market value. Official Monitor Your Positions: that screen is cash, open positions, and total value. A saved market is not one of those rows. If the live app keeps starred / followed / saved tickets on a separate list, that list is the return door. If it does not, the return door is search or the Sports/NFL hub — How to find an NFL market is that hunt. This page does not clone it.

International “watchlist” tools are not the US desk

Official Website vs App · flagged

Public third-party pages and some international-web writeups name a watchlist. Official Website vs App: polymarket.com is a different product, and US residents cannot deposit or trade there. We will not mash a third-party save list, a browser bookmark of the international site, or an unofficial Telegram list onto the US app as if Place a Trade printed it. Confirm the live US control after KYC.

Official US docs · no invented Watchlist tab · star / follow / save · US app, not a third-party list

How to add and remove a market

Official Browse Markets is how you land on a card. Official Events & Markets allows searching or browsing to find it again. The pin is only the shortcut. See how to find an NFL market if you are still hunting — this page does not repeat that path.

Add — pin the ticket you already opened

Star, follow, or save

Open one market in the Polymarket US app. Look on that ticket for the live star / follow / save control. Tap it once. That is add. Official Place a Trade does not reprint that button name, so we describe the action. Do not tap Yes or No to “save” a market — that is a trade, not a pin. We do not reprint a live price on the card you pin.

Confirm it comes back without hunting

The point of the pin

Leave the ticket, then try to reopen it from whatever saved / starred / followed list the live app actually shows. If no such list exists, the pin did not create a folder — use search or the Sports/NFL hub to land on the same title. Official Events & Markets allows searching or browsing. Official Browse Markets does not reprint a Search header. Follow the live labels. A pin is only useful if you can find the same printed sentence again.

Remove — tap the same control, or drop it from the list

Undo the pin

On the opened ticket, tap the same star / follow / save control again if that is how the live app unpins. If the live saved list has a remove / unstar action, use that. Official US pages we checked do not reprint a Remove-from-watchlist header. We will not invent one. Removing a pin does not sell a contract, cancel an order, or change cash.

Add = tap the live pin · remove = undo · Yes/No is a trade, not a save

Watching is not a position

Official Glossary splits an open position from an open order. Official Check Your Balance is cash. A saved market is none of those three. See how to read your Polymarket portfolio for the filled row — this page does not clone it.

A watched market is not an open position

Official Glossary

Official Glossary: an open position is the contracts you currently hold. Official Monitor Your Positions: that row shows contracts held, average entry, current market price, and potential payout. A starred or saved ticket has none of those fields unless you already filled a Yes or a No. Pinning a card does not buy size and does not lock a price.

A watched market is not an open order

Official Glossary — still on the book

Official Glossary: an open order is an order waiting on the book to be filled. Official Orders & Trading: a fill creates a position. Saving a market does not rest a limit and does not spend buying power. If you later post size, that is How to place a limit order — a different click. This page does not clone it.

A watched market is not cash, and not a floor

Official Check Your Balance

Official Check Your Balance and Official Glossary: cash is the money not tied to any open position. A saved list does not move cash, does not create withdrawable value, and does not settle at $1.00 or $0.00. Official Market Settlement still grades only contracts you hold. Event contracts can settle at zero. Watching a sentence is not a hedge.

Official Glossary · pin ≠ fill ≠ resting limit ≠ cash · no live number

How to save a market so you can come back

  1. Step 1

Open one market in the Polymarket US app — not the international website

Find the ticket first, then open it. Official Place a Trade: tap any market to open it. Official Website vs App: US residents browse and trade in the Polymarket US app; polymarket.com is a different product and US residents cannot deposit or trade there. Official What is Polymarket US? is the fiat, CFTC-regulated desk this page belongs to. If the sports desk is hidden where you live, stop. How to find an NFL market is the hunt. This page starts on a ticket you already opened.

  2. Step 2

Look for the live star / follow / save control — we will not invent the header

Official Browse Markets, Official Place a Trade, Official Monitor Your Positions, and Official Glossary do not reprint a retail tab labelled Watchlist, Favorites, Watch, or Saved on the swipe we checked. The action is: on the opened ticket, look for a star, follow, bookmark, or save control. If the live app prints a different label, follow that label. If no such control exists, do not invent a folder — come back through search or the Sports/NFL hub.

  3. Step 3

Add the market, then confirm you can reopen it without hunting

Tap the live pin once. That is add. Leave the ticket and try to reopen the same printed title from whatever saved / starred / followed list the live app shows. If that list is missing, the pin did not create a return door. Do not tap Yes or No to “save” the market — that spends cash and opens a position. We do not reprint a live board or a saved-count.

  4. Step 4

Remove the pin the same way — that does not sell or cancel anything

Tap the same star / follow / save control again, or use the remove action on the live saved list if the app shows one. Official US pages do not reprint a Remove-from-watchlist header, so we describe the undo. Removing a pin does not close an open position, cancel an open order, or change cash. Those click paths live on later how-tos.

  5. Step 5

Treat watching as a bookmark, not a position — then leave the other how-tos alone

Official Glossary: an open position is contracts you hold. Official Monitor Your Positions is that filled row. A watched market is neither. How to read your Polymarket portfolio is the screen for cash and fills. How to read price history and How to read volume are the chart and the stamp on a ticket you reopen. How to check when a market ends is the resolution-date clock. This page does not clone them. Event contracts can settle at zero. Trade only what you can afford to lose. Nothing here is investment advice.

Blocked and contested states

Reported unavailable as of June 2026: Arizona, Illinois, Massachusetts, Maryland, Michigan, Montana, Nevada and Ohio. That list is not a promise it stays still — litigation around sports event contracts in particular can narrow or shift access. If you are in a listed state, do not treat a saved card as a market you can reopen or trade. If you are in Florida or another green-light state, still confirm the ticket appears before you send money.

Age is 18+ with identity verification. That is a different gate from the 21+ / responsible-gambling frame on our DFS pages, because these are traded financial instruments. If you also want NFL DFS, start at the picks hub — starring a slate there is not this pin. Compare platforms on the prediction-markets hub.

What you will not get from this page

A dollar welcome match, a paste-this promo code, a live saved-count or price, an invented Watchlist / Favorites tab, a cloned find-a-market / portfolio / price-history / volume / market-ends walkthrough, a third-party watchlist hop, or claim buttons for Kalshi, DraftKings, FanDuel, Underdog, Sleeper, PrizePicks, Hard Rock or BetRivers. We could not verify a standing official US welcome bonus on Polymarket’s own terms. Other publishers’ partner codes are theirs; we do not copy them. The honest user-facing line is still US access via CFTC-regulated QCEX — official US help does not reprint a Watchlist tab, the action is star / follow / save on the opened ticket if the live app shows it, add and remove with that same control, watching is not a position, and anything those public pages do not print is not a label we invent. Frequently Asked Questions

Does Polymarket US have a Watchlist, Favorites, or Saved tab?
Official Browse Markets, Official Place a Trade, Official Monitor Your Positions, and Official Glossary do not reprint a retail tab, tile, or definition labelled Watchlist, Favorites, Watch, or Saved on the swipe we checked. We will not invent that header. If the live US app shows a star, follow, bookmark, or save control on an opened market, use that live label. The only live claim on this page hops through /go/polymarket.
How do I add a market to a Polymarket watch list?
Open one market in the Polymarket US app (Official Place a Trade: tap the ticket). Look on that page for the live star / follow / save control and tap it once. Official US help does not reprint that button name, so we describe the action. Do not tap Yes or No to pin a market — that is a trade. Then confirm you can reopen the same printed title from whatever saved list the live app shows, or from search / the Sports/NFL hub if no list exists.
How do I remove a saved or watched market?
On the opened ticket, tap the same star / follow / save control again if that is how the live app unpins. If a saved list shows a remove / unstar action, use that. Official US pages we checked do not reprint a Remove-from-watchlist header. Removing a pin does not sell a contract, cancel an order, or change cash.
Is watching a Polymarket market the same as holding a position?
No. Official Glossary: an open position is the contracts you currently hold. Official Monitor Your Positions lists contracts held, average entry, current market, and potential payout on that filled row. A starred or saved ticket is a bookmark so you can come back without hunting. It is not a Yes/No, not an open order, and not cash. It does not settle at $1.00 or $0.00.
Can I use a browser bookmark or a third-party watchlist instead?
Official Website vs App: US residents browse and trade in the Polymarket US app, not on polymarket.com. A browser bookmark of the international site, or a third-party “Polymarket watchlist,” is not the US deposit-and-trade desk. We will not paste those tools onto the US swipe as if Place a Trade printed them. Confirm the live in-app control after KYC.
Is this the same as the find-a-market, portfolio, price-history, volume, or market-ends how-to?
No. Find-an-NFL-market is search versus the Sports/NFL hub. Portfolio is cash, an open position, and an open order. Price history is the chart / last-trade tape. Volume is the completed-trade stamp versus the live book. Market-ends is the resolution-date clock. This page is only how to pin a market so you can come back without hunting — where watch / favorite / saved lives if official help names it, how to add and remove, and why watching is not a position. We link out instead of cloning those click paths.
Can I save and trade a watched Polymarket market in every US state?
No. As of our June 2026 check Polymarket was reported unavailable in Arizona, Illinois, Massachusetts, Maryland, Michigan, Montana, Nevada and Ohio. Florida is a green-light state. Sports markets are the most legally contested category anywhere. Confirm the ticket still appears before you treat a pin as a market you can reopen — or trade.
Which claim button is actually live on this page?
Polymarket only. The claim button hops through /go/polymarket. There is no /go/kalshi, DraftKings, FanDuel, Underdog, Sleeper, PrizePicks, Hard Rock or BetRivers claim here. We do not invent tracking URLs.
Is there a Polymarket watchlist bonus or promo code on this page?
No. We do not publish a dollar welcome or a promo code. Partner codes that appear on other sites belong to those publishers. Confirm any live terms in the Polymarket US app. If you open Polymarket through our link we may earn a commission at no extra cost to you — that is not a user bonus.
Is saving a Polymarket market the same as starring an NFL DFS slate or a sportsbook bet?
No. Daily fantasy is a state-licensed gambling product — often 21+, with a 1-800-GAMBLER frame. A sportsbook “my bets” or “favorites” slip is a house wager or a bookmarked line. Event contracts are CFTC-regulated financial/derivatives products, typically 18+ with KYC. A pin is not a ticket you own. A filled contract can still settle at zero. There is no protected bonus floor.

Advertising disclosure: Polymarket links are affiliate links — we may earn a commission at no cost to you, which never affects our ratings. Kalshi, DraftKings, FanDuel, Underdog, Sleeper, PrizePicks, Hard Rock and BetRivers have no live outbound claim on this page. Event contracts are CFTC-regulated financial products, not gambling. Trading involves risk and you can lose money, including your entire stake. Not investment advice. 18+. DFS pages on this site use a separate 21+ / 1-800-GAMBLER frame.
