How to Read a Combo or Parlay-Style Ticket on Polymarket (US 2026)

One instrument. Several listed legs. Not a moneyline, not a series winner, and not a sportsbook parlay.

Trading involves risk — the listed legs are the event

Polymarket offers CFTC-regulated event contracts: financial/derivatives products, not sportsbook bets and not daily fantasy. You can lose money, including your entire stake. A combo is not a house parlay, and two separate fills are not a combo. Nothing on this page is sportsbook advice or investment advice. For adults 18+ with KYC. Sports markets are the most contested category; state availability can change. DFS pages on this site use a separate 21+ / 1-800-GAMBLER frame — do not mix the two.

Advertising disclosure: the claim button is an affiliate link. We may earn a commission if you sign up through it, at no extra cost to you. That never changes our ratings, and it is not a user bonus.

Who this guide is for

US adults who can already open a Polymarket sports ticket and now need the bundled / multi-leg instrument — what official US help calls a Combo if it does, what the listed legs are, and how those pages print settlement. This is not how to read a moneyline, not how to read a series winner, not how to read a three-way winner, not how to read a draw or tie, and not how to tell a spread from a total. Those pages are the two-way winner sentence, the best-of, the wrapper split, the listed Draw row, and the cover-versus-combined-score split. This page is only the instrument that lists more than one existing market as legs. Polymarket is the only live outbound on this page.

How official US help labels a combo

Official Combos and Official Combos API Overview print Combo. Official Sports FAQs do not add that word to the sports contract table. We reprint those published names. We do not invent a Parlay tab those pages do not print.

Official Combos pages print Combo — not Parlay

Official Combos

Official Combos (trader guide and Combos API Overview): a combo is a user-defined instrument with 2–10 component legs. Each leg identifies an existing market symbol and whether the combo buys or sells that leg. Combo instruments trade through normal order entry; most combo price discovery starts with a request for quote (RFQ). Official Retail Combos API: create and read combo instruments through the Retail API — and that page stamps beta access required. Those are published US names. We will not paste Parlay, SGP, or Multi onto a header those pages do not print.

Sports FAQs do not list Combo as a sports contract type

Official Sports FAQs

Official Sports FAQs list Winner (w/o ties), Winner (w/ ties), Spread, Total, Future, Qualifier, and Player Prop. That table does not reprint Combo, Parlay, Multi-leg, or Same-game parlay. Official Events & Markets teaching moneyline is “Who wins?” / “Will the Chiefs win?” — one game, one Yes/No. A combo is not that row. We will not invent a seventh sports type on that FAQ table.

The published teaching pair is two different markets on one instrument

Official Combos teaching example

Official Combos Create a Combo teaching legs pair an Athletic Event moneyline (their aec-mlb-nyy-bos-… slug) as SIDE_BUY with a Total Score (their tsc-nba-bos-lal-…-207pt5 slug) as SIDE_SELL. That is two existing markets — a winner sentence and a combined-score sentence — listed as legs on one caoc-… instrument. Those are docs examples. They are not a live 2026 board we reprint, not a juice number, and not a sportsbook same-game parlay we invent.

Browse may never print Combo or Parlay

Describe the action

Official Browse Markets: find active markets on the home screen, then scroll the top categories. Official copy names professional football, professional basketball, professional hockey, and college football. It does not reprint a retail tab labelled Combo, Parlay, Multi-leg, or Same-game parlay. Official Place a Trade is still tap a market, then Yes or No, then a dollar amount. If the live US product chips Combo, lists several existing markets as legs, or opens a request-for-quote on a bundled instrument, follow that live stamp. If it does not, the action is: look for one ticket whose listed outcomes are more than one existing market — not one Yes/No, not a winner field of separate rows, and not tonight’s moneyline alone.

Official Combos · Combo ≠ Parlay tab · no invented SGP chip · no live quote

What the listed legs are

Official Combos is one instrument. Official Place a Trade on a single market is still Yes or No on one printed question. The listed legs change which existing markets that instrument holds. The cents on a single Yes live on How to read Yes/No prices.

One instrument. Several listed legs. Not several tickets.

Official Combos

Official Combos: the combo is the instrument. The legs are existing markets the combo buys or sells. That is not tapping Yes on Team A and Yes on Team B as two separate fills. Official Place a Trade on a single market is still one question. Official Events & Markets: a market is a single yes/no question, and one event can have multiple markets attached — those attached markets stay separate tickets unless they are listed as legs on a combo. How to read a multi-outcome market is that field of rows. This page is the bundled instrument.

Each listed leg is a buy or a sell of an existing market

Official Combos · SIDE_BUY / SIDE_SELL

Official Combos: each leg contains an existing market symbol and a buy or sell side. Official Glossary: a long is trading on the outcome occurring; a short is trading on it not occurring. Official Combos settlement copy tells you not to invert a SIDE_SELL leg when you read that leg’s YES/LONG result. Buying the combo is not automatically Yes on every printed team. Read which side each listed leg holds.

Two to ten legs — that range is published. A juice table is not.

Official Combos

Official Combos API: POST accepts 2–10 unique legs. Duplicate symbols and invalid combinations are rejected. Component symbols must be open, tradable, supported instruments. Official Combos quote rules print a 0.001 tick on current combo instruments. Those pages do not print a sportsbook parlay multiplier, a same-game parlay toggle, or a “field juice” table. We will not invent one. See prediction markets vs sportsbooks if you wanted a house parlay. That is a different product.

Official Combos · 2–10 legs · buy or sell per leg · no invented multiplier

How official pages print settlement

Official Combos print a number on each listed leg. Official Market Settlement is still $1.00 or $0.00 on a single contract unless that ticket prints another published path. We will not invent a sportsbook “all legs must hit” sentence those Combos pages do not print.

Official Combos print settlement on each listed leg

Official Combos · settlementPrice

Official Combos / Official RFQ: each combo leg can carry a settlementPrice. Settlement is the raw YES/LONG result normalized to [0,1]. Do not invert it for SIDE_SELL. A present “0” is a valid settlement and is not the same as an absent field. That is the published US settlement language for the listed legs. Those pages do not print a sportsbook sentence that every listed side has to hit for the bundle to pay $1.00. If the live card prints a different bundle-grade sentence, that stamp wins.

A single contract is still $1.00 or $0.00 — unless that ticket says otherwise

Official Glossary + Market Settlement

Official Glossary: each contract settles at $1.00 if the outcome occurs and $0.00 if it does not. Official Market Settlement uses the same $1 / $0 grade. Official Sports FAQs still put last-fair-market-price paths on postponements, cancellations, and some withdrawals. We will not mash a sportsbook “all legs must hit or the slip is dead” rule onto a combo those Combos pages do not grade that way. Read the listed legs and the Rules block on the instrument in front of you.

Two separate fills are not this ticket

Different product

Tapping Yes on a moneyline and Yes on a total as two orders is two event contracts, each with its own ask, its own size, and its own settlement. Official Combos is one instrument whose legs are those markets. Official Place a Trade does not turn two swipes into a combo. How to read a moneyline and How to tell a spread from a total stay on their own URLs. This page does not clone them.

Official Combos · per-leg YES/LONG [0,1] · no invented “all must hit” grade

This is not a moneyline, a series winner, or a house parlay

Official How to read a moneyline is who wins on a two-side sentence. Official How to read a series winner is the listed series. This page does not repeat those maps. See prediction markets vs sportsbooks if you wanted a house parlay. There isn’t one here.

A moneyline is one winner sentence — not a bundle

Official Events & Markets

Official Events & Markets teaching moneyline is “Who wins?” / “Will the Chiefs win?” Official Sports FAQs call that Winner (w/o ties) or Winner (w/ ties). That is one game. A combo can list a moneyline as one leg next to another existing market. The moneyline how-to is the single winner sentence. This page is the instrument that needs more than one listed market on it.

A series winner, a three-way, and a Draw row stay on their own clocks

Leave those how-tos linked

A series-winner sentence is who takes the listed series — not a bundle of games we invent. Official Winner (w/ ties) / Athletic Tie is three contracts on one game, including Draw. Official Sports FAQs Future is a championship, award, or tournament. None of those pages print Combo. How to read a series winner, How to read a three-way winner, and How to read a draw or tie keep those sentences apart. This page does not clone them.

A spread versus a total is two sentences — unless they are listed as legs

Official Sports FAQs

Official Sports FAQs: a Spread asks whether a team wins by a certain margin; a Total asks whether the combined score is over or under a threshold. Official Events & Markets lists those as separate markets on the same game. Official Combos teaching copy can list a total as one leg of a combo. Until they are listed as legs on one instrument, they are two tickets. How to tell a spread from a total is that split.

A sportsbook parlay is not a label we will invent

Not a house parlay

A sportsbook parlay multiplies several legs into one house ticket. Official Combos never print Parlay, SGP, or a juice table. Official Place a Trade is still Yes or No on the sentence you opened — or, on a combo, buy or sell of each listed leg. See prediction markets vs sportsbooks if you wanted a house parlay. That is a different product.

Official US docs · combo ≠ moneyline · combo ≠ series · no invented parlay juice

How to read the combo before you click

  1. Step 1

Open browse and look for a bundled / multi-leg instrument — follow the live labels

Official Browse Markets: find active markets on the home screen, then scroll the top categories. Official Combos name the product Combo. Official Sports FAQs and Official Browse Markets do not reprint a retail Combo or Parlay tab — if the live chip uses Combo, lists several existing markets as legs, or opens a request-for-quote on a bundled instrument, follow that live label. If it does not, the action is the same: open the ticket that lists more than one existing market as legs on one instrument. If the sports desk is hidden where you live, stop. We do not invent a live slate.

  2. Step 2

Read the listed legs — each one is a buy or a sell of an existing market

Official Combos: 2–10 unique legs; each leg is an existing market symbol plus SIDE_BUY or SIDE_SELL. Official Combos teaching pair is a moneyline buy and a total sell — docs examples, not a live quote. Buying the combo is not automatically Yes on every printed team. Read which side each listed leg holds. We do not reprint a live combo price.

  3. Step 3

Read how official pages print settlement — per listed leg, not a sportsbook “all must hit” we invent

Official Combos: settlement on each listed leg is the raw YES/LONG result normalized to [0,1]; do not invert it for SIDE_SELL. Official Glossary / Market Settlement still grade a single contract at $1.00 or $0.00. Official Combos pages do not print a sportsbook sentence that every listed side has to hit for the bundle to pay. If the live card prints a different bundle-grade sentence, that stamp wins. Do not paste a house parlay rule onto the logos.

  4. Step 4

Confirm this is not a moneyline, a series winner, a three-way, or two separate fills

A single “Will [team] win?” is the moneyline how-to. Who takes the listed series is the series-winner how-to. Winner (w/ ties) versus Winner (w/o ties) is the three-way how-to. A Draw or Tie row is its own page. A spread versus a total on the same game, until they are listed as combo legs, are two tickets. Official Place a Trade does not turn two swipes into a combo.

  5. Step 5

Stop before you swipe a bundle you have not read — then leave the other how-tos linked

Moneyline, series winner, three-way winner, draw or tie, and spread-versus-total live on their own pages. This page only gets you to read a combo / multi-leg instrument: what official US help calls Combo if it does, that the listed legs are buy or sell sides of existing markets, and how those pages print per-leg settlement. Event contracts can settle at zero. Trade only what you can afford to lose. Nothing here is investment advice.

Blocked-state, KYC, and deposit gotchas

Reported unavailable as of June 2026: Arizona, Illinois, Massachusetts, Maryland, Michigan, Montana, Nevada and Ohio. That list is not a promise it stays still — litigation around sports event contracts in particular can narrow or shift access. If you are in a listed state, do not open a combo instrument on the assumption the desk is open. If you are in Florida or another green-light state, still confirm the app lets you finish KYC and that the specific bundled ticket — if it appears — actually lists the legs you think you are holding before you send money.

A contract you can see is not a contract you can trade. Official US docs require identity verification before you can deposit or trade. Those click paths live on How to complete Polymarket KYC and How to deposit on Polymarket. The first swipe lives on How to buy your first NFL ticket. This page does not repeat them. Age is 18+ with identity verification — a different gate from the 21+ / 1-800-GAMBLER frame on our DFS pages. If you also want NFL DFS, start at the picks hub.

What you will not get from this page

A dollar welcome match, a paste-this promo code, a live combo quote, an invented Combo / Parlay / SGP tab Official Browse Markets does not print, an invented “all legs must hit” sportsbook grade Official Combos pages do not print, a cloned moneyline / series-winner / three-way / draw-or-tie / spread-versus-total walkthrough, a newsletter form, or claim buttons for Kalshi, DraftKings, FanDuel, Underdog, Sleeper, PrizePicks, Hard Rock or BetRivers. We could not verify a standing official US welcome bonus on Polymarket’s own terms. Other publishers’ partner codes are theirs; we do not copy them. The honest user-facing line is still US access via CFTC-regulated QCEX — official docs call the bundled instrument Combo, it is 2–10 listed legs each a buy or sell of an existing market, official settlement copy is per-leg YES/LONG in [0,1], that is not a moneyline or a house parlay, read the listed legs before you swipe, and anything those US pages do not print is not a label or a grade we invent. Frequently Asked Questions

What is a combo or parlay-style ticket on Polymarket?
Official Combos: a combo is a user-defined instrument with 2–10 component legs. Each leg identifies an existing market symbol and whether the combo buys or sells that leg. Official Combos teaching example pairs a moneyline buy with a total sell under a caoc-… symbol. Official Sports FAQs do not list Combo or Parlay as a sports contract type. Those are docs names, not a live price. We do not invent a Parlay tab.
How is a combo labeled if public US help or the live card shows it?
Official Combos pages print Combo. Official Retail Combos API stamps beta access required. Official Browse Markets and Official Sports FAQs do not reprint a retail Combo or Parlay tab. If the live US product chips Combo, lists several existing markets as legs, or opens a request-for-quote on a bundled instrument, follow that live label. If it does not, describe the action: open the ticket that lists more than one existing market as legs on one instrument. The only live claim on this page hops through /go/polymarket.
Do all listed legs have to hit for a Polymarket combo to pay?
Official Combos print settlement on each listed leg as the raw YES/LONG result normalized to [0,1]; do not invert it for SIDE_SELL. Official Glossary / Market Settlement still grade a single contract at $1.00 or $0.00. Those Combos pages do not print a sportsbook “all legs must hit” sentence. If the live card prints a different bundle-grade sentence — including that the instrument only pays when every listed side resolves on the side you hold — that stamp wins. We will not invent a house parlay rule those US pages do not print.
Is a Polymarket combo the same as buying two separate tickets?
No. Tapping Yes on a moneyline and Yes on a total as two orders is two event contracts, each with its own settlement. Official Combos is one instrument whose legs are those markets. Official Place a Trade does not turn two swipes into a combo. How to read a moneyline and How to tell a spread from a total stay on their own pages.
Is a Polymarket combo the same as a moneyline, a series winner, or a three-way?
No. Official Events & Markets moneyline is a single “Will the Chiefs win?” Yes/No. A series winner is who takes the listed series. Official Winner (w/ ties) is three contracts on one game, including Draw. Official Combos is a user-defined instrument with 2–10 listed legs. Those how-tos stay linked. This page is only the bundled instrument.
How do I find a combo if browse never says Combo?
Official Browse Markets names sport categories and prints the market question, Yes and No prices, and a resolution date. It does not reprint a retail Combo or Parlay tab. We will not invent one. The action is: look for one ticket that lists more than one existing market as legs — or follow a live Combo chip or request-for-quote if the US app prints one. Official Retail Combos API notes beta access is required. We do not invent a live board.
Is this the same as the moneyline, series-winner, three-way, draw-or-tie, or spread-versus-total how-to?
No. Moneyline is the two-way winner sentence. Series winner is who takes the listed series. Three-way winner is Winner (w/ ties) versus Winner (w/o ties). Draw or tie is the listed Draw / Tie outcome. Spread-versus-total is a cover margin versus a combined score. This page is only the combo / multi-leg instrument: what official US help calls Combo if it does, that the listed legs are buy or sell sides of existing markets, and how those pages print per-leg settlement. We link out instead of cloning those click paths.
Can I trade a combo on Polymarket in every US state?
No. As of our June 2026 check Polymarket was reported unavailable in Arizona, Illinois, Massachusetts, Maryland, Michigan, Montana, Nevada and Ohio. Florida is a green-light state. Sports markets are the most legally contested category anywhere. Confirm the sports desk in-app before you fund, and confirm the specific combo instrument — if it appears — still lists the legs you think you are holding.
Which claim button is actually live on this page?
Polymarket only. The claim button hops through /go/polymarket. There is no /go/kalshi, DraftKings, FanDuel, Underdog, Sleeper, PrizePicks, Hard Rock or BetRivers claim here. We do not invent tracking URLs.
Is there a Polymarket combo or parlay bonus or promo code on this page?
No. We do not publish a dollar welcome or a promo code. Partner codes that appear on other sites belong to those publishers. Confirm any live terms in the Polymarket US app. If you open Polymarket through our link we may earn a commission at no extra cost to you — that is not a user bonus.
Is a Polymarket combo the same as a sportsbook parlay or an NFL DFS lineup?
No. Sportsbook parlays are a house ticket that multiplies several legs. Daily fantasy is a state-licensed gambling product — often 21+, with a 1-800-GAMBLER frame. Event contracts are CFTC-regulated financial/derivatives products, typically 18+ with KYC. A Polymarket combo is a user-defined instrument other users can quote. A contract can settle at zero. There is no protected bonus floor. Nothing here is sportsbook or investment advice.

Advertising disclosure: Polymarket links are affiliate links — we may earn a commission at no cost to you, which never affects our ratings. Kalshi, DraftKings, FanDuel, Underdog, Sleeper, PrizePicks, Hard Rock and BetRivers have no live outbound claim on this page. Event contracts are CFTC-regulated financial products, not gambling. Trading involves risk and you can lose money, including your entire stake. Not investment advice. 18+. DFS pages on this site use a separate 21+ / 1-800-GAMBLER frame.
