Official US help does not reprint a Comments tab on the ticket

Official Place a Trade, Official Browse Markets, Official Market Rules, Official Glossary, and the official US docs index we checked do not reprint a retail tab, tile, or definition labelled Comments, Discussion, Community, or Chat on a market page. Official Place a Trade is tap any market to open it, then Yes or No, a dollar amount, review, swipe. Official Browse Markets prints the question, Yes and No prices, and a resolution date — not a comment column on the tile. We will not invent a home-screen Comments chip. If the sports desk is hidden where you live, stop.
The action is on the opened ticket — comments, discussion, or community
Describe the action
Official Place a Trade: tap any market to open it. That opened ticket is where you look for a talk thread if the live US app actually prints one. Official US pages we checked do not name that control. If the live screen shows Comments, Discussion, Community, or another talk label, use that live word. If the control is missing or named differently, stay on the ticket and do not hunt a header we invent. Official Website vs App: US residents do that in the Polymarket US app, not on polymarket.com.
In-app chat is support — not the ticket’s comment thread

Official How do I contact support?: you can contact support through the in-app chat in your account settings, or email support@polymarket.us. That door is for errors, reference IDs, and screenshots. It is not a public discussion under one Yes/No sentence, and a support reply is not a resolution source. Do not paste a tweet into chat and ask the desk to grade the ticket.
International Comments / Community is not the US desk

Public international market pages can print Comments, and some third-party interface guides call a Community block with comments, holders, and activity. Official international docs also publish a Comments API. Official Website vs App: polymarket.com is a different product, accounts are not connected, and US residents cannot deposit or trade there. We will not mash that Comments tab, that API, or a comment count onto the US swipe as if Place a Trade printed it. Confirm the live US control after KYC.

A comment does not complete an order

Official Glossary: a fill is when your order completes, fully or partially. Official Orders & Trading: once an order fills, you have a position. Reading a thread, tapping a reaction, or typing a reply does none of that. It does not lock a price and it does not spend buying power.
The swipe is still Yes or No — not a reply

Official Place a Trade: tap Yes if you think the printed event happens, or No if you think it does not, enter a dollar amount or Max, review, then swipe up to confirm. A comment skips that swipe. Someone else’s take is not your ticket. We do not reprint a live price from the thread.
A comment is not a row on the activity tape

A public print is a completed match. Official Glossary History is your past filled orders and closed positions. How to read the activity feed is that list. This page does not clone it. A sentence in a thread is talk. It is not lastTradePx, and it is not your fill unless your order actually completed.

Official Market Resolution: markets resolve using the specific sources listed in the rules. Those sources provide the authoritative outcome. Unlisted sources have no effect. Official Market Rules repeat the same cut. A comment under the ticket — or a reply you liked — is unlisted unless that ticket names the exact account. It will not. Do not treat a confident poster as the official result.

Official Market Clarification
Official Market Clarification: markets resolve based on the rules shown on the market page. When the exchange needs extra clarity, a clarification appears at the top of the rules section as an Additional context message. That note is exchange language. It is not a user comment. Official copy: always read the rules and any clarifications before trading. A thread that “explains” the sentence is still not that block.
Still read the source line before you buy
The grader lives in the rules
Official Market Rules name Resolution Sources inside the rules on that market page — the official sources used to confirm the outcome. Official Place a Trade does not reprint a retail tab labelled Resolution source on the swipe we checked; the action is still: scroll the rules on the opened ticket. How to read a resolution source is that line. How to read market rules is the whole block. This page only tells you not to skip them because a comment already “called it.”

Official Market Resolution: listed sources grade; unlisted sources have no effect. Official Glossary: Resolution is when Polymarket determines the final outcome using the sources listed in the rules. A comment is not that list. Official Market Clarification’s Additional context is an exchange note at the top of the rules section — not a user reply. If the thread contradicts the printed source, the printed source still wins.

Scroll the rules on that same ticket and find the resolution / source line if public docs or the live screen name it. How to read a resolution source is the grader. How to read market rules is the whole block. How to read the activity feed is recent trades, not talk. How to share a market is the send. This page is only how to read comments / discussion without treating them as a fill or as the grade. Event contracts can settle at zero. Trade only what you can afford to lose. Blocked and contested states
Reported unavailable as of June 2026: Arizona, Illinois, Massachusetts, Maryland, Michigan, Montana, Nevada and Ohio. That list is not a promise it stays still — litigation around sports event contracts in particular can narrow or shift access. If you are in a listed state, do not treat a comment thread as a market you can reopen or trade. If you are in Florida or another green-light state, still confirm the ticket appears — and that any live comments / discussion list still opens — before you send money.
