How to Favorite a Market on Polymarket (US 2026)

Mark one ticket so you can find that same printed sentence again. A star is not a sportsbook favorite, and not a trade.

By Scott · Last verified August 8, 2026

Trading involves risk — a starred card is not a floor

Polymarket offers CFTC-regulated event contracts: financial/derivatives products, not sportsbook bets and not daily fantasy. You can lose money, including your entire stake. Starring or saving one card does not buy size, does not lock a price, and is not investment advice. Nothing on this page is a recommendation to trade. For adults 18+ with KYC. Sports markets are the most contested category; state availability can change. DFS pages on this site use a separate 21+ / 1-800-GAMBLER frame — do not mix the two.

Advertising disclosure: the claim button is an affiliate link. We may earn a commission if you sign up through it, at no extra cost to you. That never changes our ratings, and it is not a user bonus.

Who this guide is for

US adults who already have one Polymarket card in front of them and now need to star, save, or favorite that one market so they can find the same printed sentence again — where the star / save control lives if official help or the live card names it, how to reopen that one saved card later, and why this is not a sportsbook favorite or investment advice. This is not how to filter markets, not how to sort markets by ending soon, not how to search for a team, and not how to search for a player. Those pages are the category strip, the nearer-date reorder, the franchise hunt, and the named-player hunt. This page is only the mark on one card you already opened. Then we link out. Polymarket is the only live outbound on this page.

Where the star / save lives on one card

Hard rule: if official US help names the control, we name it. If it does not, we describe the action — star, save, or favorite — on the one card in front of you. Official Place a Trade is tap to open the ticket. Official Browse Markets reprints the question, Yes/No prices, and the resolution date — not a star. Official Website vs App splits the international site from the US desk.

Official US help does not reprint a Favorite or Star header

No named retail header

Official Place a Trade, Official Browse Markets, Official Monitor Your Positions, and Official Glossary do not reprint a retail tab, tile, icon name, or definition labelled Favorite, Star, Save, or Bookmark on the swipe we checked. Official Place a Trade is tap any market to open it. Official Browse Markets reprints the printed question, Yes and No prices, and the resolution date on each home-screen card. We will not invent a home-screen Favorites chip those pages do not print. If the sports desk is hidden where you live, stop.

Look on the one card you already have open — not a folder we invent

Describe the action

This page is one ticket. Official Place a Trade: tap any market to open it. That opened card — or the same card still sitting on the home-screen list — is where you look for a control that marks this printed sentence so you can reopen it later. Official US pages we checked do not name that control. If the live US app shows a star, a save, a favorite, or a bookmark on this card, use that live label. If the control is missing or named differently, stay on this card and do not hunt a header we invent.

A browse-row icon is still this one sentence — not a category tap

Official Browse Markets

Official Browse Markets: find active markets on the home screen, then scroll the top categories. A category tap narrows the board. That is How to filter markets — a different click. If the live browse row for this ticket already shows a star or save on the card itself, that mark still belongs to this printed question, not to the whole NFL strip. We will not mash a category chip onto a favorite. Follow the live control on the card in front of you.

International-web stars and third-party bookmark tools are not the US desk

Official Website vs App · flagged

Official Website vs App: US residents browse and trade in the Polymarket US app; polymarket.com is a different product and US residents cannot deposit or trade there. A browser bookmark of the international site, a third-party “Polymarket favorites” list, or a star you saw in an international-web screenshot is not the US swipe. We will not paste those onto Place a Trade. Confirm the live US control after KYC.

Official US docs · no invented Favorite tab · one card · US app, not a browser bookmark

How to find that one saved card later

Official Monitor Your Positions is Portfolio — fills, not a bookmark. Official Events & Markets says you can search or browse to land on a title again. See how to search for a team and how to search for a player if the live app never grew a saved list — this page does not repeat those hunts.

If the live app keeps a saved / starred / favorites list, that is the return door

Confirm the live screen

Official Place a Trade: open the Portfolio tab to track a position and market value. Official Monitor Your Positions: that screen is cash, open positions, and total value. A starred card is not one of those rows. If the live US app keeps this one ticket on a separate saved / starred / favorites screen, that screen is how you reopen the same printed sentence. Official US pages we checked do not reprint that screen name. We will not invent Favorites as a home-tab label.

If no saved list exists, find the same title — do not invent a folder

Search or browse

Official Events & Markets: you can find markets by searching or browsing. Official Browse Markets does not reprint a Search header. If starring this card did not create a return list, land on the same printed title the same way you found it: type the team, type the player, or reopen the sport category and the nearer dates. How to search for a team, How to search for a player, How to filter markets, and How to sort by ending soon are those hunts. This page does not clone them.

Confirm it is the same printed sentence — not a lookalike event

Official Events & Markets

Official Events & Markets: one event can hold several markets. Landing on the game page is not the same as landing on this Yes/No. Read the title word-for-word: which teams, which player, which week, and whether the sentence is a winner, a margin, a combined score, or a player stat. Official Browse Markets also prints a resolution date on the card. Match that date. We do not reprint a live board.

Saved list if the live app shows one · else same title via search / category · Portfolio ≠ favorites

Not a sportsbook favorite — and not a trade

Official Place a Trade is still a Yes or a No plus a swipe. Official Glossary splits a fill from an open position. A star is neither, and it is not a house line. See prediction markets vs sportsbooks for the product split — this page does not add a sportsbook hop.

A sportsbook “favorites” slip is a house line — this star is not that

Not a sportsbook

A sportsbook favorites / my-bets / saved-odds chip is a house wager or a bookmarked line on a state-licensed gambling product — often 21+, with a 1-800-GAMBLER frame. Event contracts are CFTC-regulated financial/derivatives products, typically 18+ with KYC. Starring one Polymarket card does not place a bet, does not lock a juice, and does not create a ticket the house grades. Prediction markets vs sportsbooks is that split. This page does not reprint a sportsbook hop.

Starring this card is not a Yes, a No, or a fill

Official Place a Trade

Official Place a Trade: tap Yes if you think the printed event happens, or No if you think it does not, enter a dollar amount or Max, review, then swipe up to confirm. Official Glossary: a fill is when your order completes. Official Orders & Trading: once an order fills, you have a position. Marking this card skips that swipe. It does not spend cash and it does not lock a price. Do not tap Yes or No to “save” the market — that is a trade.

This is not investment advice, and a star is not a floor

Not advice

Nothing on this page is a recommendation to buy, sell, or hold an event contract. Official Check Your Balance and Official Glossary: cash is money not tied to an open position. A starred card does not move cash, does not create withdrawable value, and does not settle at $1.00 or $0.00. Official Market Settlement still grades only contracts you hold. Event contracts can settle at zero. Saving a sentence is not a hedge.

Not sportsbook advice · star ≠ swipe ≠ fill · not investment advice · no live number

How to star one card so you can find it again

  1. Step 1

Open one market in the Polymarket US app — the card you want to find again

Find the ticket first, then stay on that one printed sentence. Official Place a Trade: tap any market to open it. Official Website vs App: US residents browse and trade in the Polymarket US app; polymarket.com is a different product and US residents cannot deposit or trade there. Official What is Polymarket US? is the fiat, CFTC-regulated desk this page belongs to. If the sports desk is hidden where you live, stop. How to filter markets, How to search for a team, and How to search for a player are the hunt. This page starts on a card you already opened.

  2. Step 2

Look for the live star / save / favorite control on this card — we will not invent the header

Official Place a Trade, Official Browse Markets, Official Monitor Your Positions, and Official Glossary do not reprint a retail tab labelled Favorite, Star, Save, or Bookmark on the swipe we checked. The action is: on this opened card — or on this same card in the browse list — look for a star, save, favorite, or bookmark control. If the live app prints a different label, follow that label. If no such control exists, do not invent a folder. Come back through search or the Sports/NFL hub.

  3. Step 3

Mark this one card — do not tap Yes or No to save it

Tap the live star / save / favorite control once. That marks this printed sentence. Official Place a Trade: Yes or No plus a dollar amount and a swipe is a trade. Do not swipe to “favorite” a market. We do not reprint a live price or a saved-count. One card is enough for this how-to. How to use a watchlist is the later page if you are collecting many pins. This page does not clone that list.

  4. Step 4

Leave the card, then find this same title again

Go back to home or another ticket. Then try to reopen this printed title from whatever saved / starred / favorites list the live app actually shows. If that list is missing, the mark did not create a return door — type the team or the player, or reopen the category and the nearer dates. Official Events & Markets: one event can hold several markets, so match the full sentence and the resolution date Official Browse Markets prints. Portfolio is not that list.

  5. Step 5

Treat the star as a pointer to one card — not a sportsbook favorite, not advice, not a fill

Official Glossary: a fill completes an order; an open position is contracts you hold. A starred card is neither. It is also not a sportsbook saved-odds slip. How to filter markets, How to sort by ending soon, How to search for a team, and How to search for a player are how you hunt if the saved list is missing. This page does not clone them. Event contracts can settle at zero. Trade only what you can afford to lose. Nothing here is investment advice.

Blocked and contested states

Reported unavailable as of June 2026: Arizona, Illinois, Massachusetts, Maryland, Michigan, Montana, Nevada and Ohio. That list is not a promise it stays still — litigation around sports event contracts in particular can narrow or shift access. If you are in a listed state, do not treat a starred card as a market you can reopen or trade. If you are in Florida or another green-light state, still confirm the ticket appears before you send money.

Age is 18+ with identity verification. That is a different gate from the 21+ / responsible-gambling frame on our DFS pages, because these are traded financial instruments. If you also want NFL DFS, start at the picks hub — starring a slate there is not this mark. Compare platforms on the prediction-markets hub.

What you will not get from this page

A dollar welcome match, a paste-this promo code, a live saved-count or price, an invented Favorite / Star / Save tab, a cloned filter / ending-soon / team-search / player-search / hide-resolved / watchlist walkthrough, a sportsbook hop, a newsletter form, or claim buttons for Kalshi, DraftKings, FanDuel, Underdog, Sleeper, PrizePicks, Hard Rock or BetRivers. We could not verify a standing official US welcome bonus on Polymarket’s own terms. Other publishers’ partner codes are theirs; we do not copy them. The honest user-facing line is still US access via CFTC-regulated QCEX — official US help does not reprint a Favorite tab, the action is star / save / favorite on the one card you opened if the live app shows it, find that same printed sentence later from the live saved list or by hunting the title, a star is not a sportsbook favorite and not investment advice, and anything those public pages do not print is not a label we invent. Frequently Asked Questions

How do I favorite or star one Polymarket market so I can find it again?
Open one market in the Polymarket US app (Official Place a Trade: tap the ticket). Look on that card for the live star / save / favorite control and use that live label. Official US help does not reprint that button name, so we describe the action. Then leave the card and reopen the same printed title from whatever saved list the live app shows — or from search / the sport category if no list exists. Do not tap Yes or No to save it. The only live claim on this page hops through /go/polymarket.
Does Polymarket US have a Favorite, Star, or Save button?
Official Place a Trade, Official Browse Markets, Official Monitor Your Positions, and Official Glossary do not reprint a retail tab, tile, icon name, or definition labelled Favorite, Star, Save, or Bookmark on the swipe we checked. We will not invent that header. If the live US app or this opened card shows a star, save, favorite, or bookmark control, use that live label. Official Browse Markets reprints the question, Yes/No prices, and the resolution date — not a star.
Where do I find a market I already favorited?
If the live US app keeps starred / saved / favorited tickets on a separate list, that list is the return door — follow the live label. Official US pages we checked do not reprint a Favorites tab, so we will not invent one. Official Place a Trade and Official Monitor Your Positions put Portfolio on cash and open positions — that is not the saved card. If no list exists, find the same printed sentence by searching the team or player, or by reopening the category and nearer dates.
Is starring one Polymarket card the same as a sportsbook favorite?
No. A sportsbook favorites / my-bets / saved-odds chip is a house line or a wager on a state-licensed gambling product. Event contracts are CFTC-regulated financial/derivatives products. Marking this card does not place a bet, does not lock juice, and is not investment advice. A filled contract can still settle at zero. There is no sportsbook hop on this page.
Does favoriting a market buy size or create a position?
No. Official Place a Trade is Yes or No, a dollar amount, review, and swipe up to confirm. Official Glossary: a fill completes an order; an open position is the contracts you currently hold. A star, save, or favorite on one card does none of those. It does not spend cash and it does not lock a price. Do not tap Yes or No to “save” the market.
Is this the same as the filter, ending-soon, team-search, player-search, or watchlist how-to?
No. Filter is the home-screen category strip. Ending-soon is reordering browse by nearer resolution dates. Team search and player search are how you land on a franchise or a named-player sentence. Watchlist is the later page if you are collecting many pins on a list. This page is only how to star / save / favorite one card so you can find that same printed sentence again — where the control lives if official help or the live card names it, how to reopen that one card later, and why this is not a sportsbook favorite or investment advice. We link out instead of cloning those click paths.
Can I favorite and trade a Polymarket market in every US state?
No. As of our June 2026 check Polymarket was reported unavailable in Arizona, Illinois, Massachusetts, Maryland, Michigan, Montana, Nevada and Ohio. Florida is a green-light state. Sports markets are the most legally contested category anywhere. A star is not a bypass. Confirm the ticket still appears before you treat a saved card as a market you can reopen — or trade.
Which claim button is actually live on this page?
Polymarket only. The claim button hops through /go/polymarket. There is no /go/kalshi, DraftKings, FanDuel, Underdog, Sleeper, PrizePicks, Hard Rock or BetRivers claim here. We do not invent tracking URLs.
Is there a Polymarket favorite-a-market bonus or promo code on this page?
No. We do not publish a dollar welcome or a promo code. Partner codes that appear on other sites belong to those publishers. Confirm any live terms in the Polymarket US app. If you open Polymarket through our link we may earn a commission at no extra cost to you — that is not a user bonus.
Is this investment advice?
No. Nothing here is a recommendation to buy, sell, or hold an event contract. Starring one card does not lock a price or a payout. Event contracts can settle at zero. Trade only what you can afford to lose. For adults 18+ with KYC where the desk is open.
