How to Turn On Notifications on Polymarket (US 2026)

Email or push if the live settings show it. A ping is not a fill, and not a tab we invent.

By Scott · Last verified August 8, 2026

Trading involves risk — an alert is not a floor

Polymarket offers CFTC-regulated event contracts: financial/derivatives products, not sportsbook bets and not daily fantasy. You can lose money, including your entire stake. A fill, resolution, or price-move ping does not lock a payout. Nothing on this page is investment advice. For adults 18+ with KYC. Sports markets are the most contested category; state availability can change. DFS pages on this site use a separate 21+ / 1-800-GAMBLER frame — do not mix the two.

Advertising disclosure: the claim button is an affiliate link. We may earn a commission if you sign up through it, at no extra cost to you. That never changes our ratings, and it is not a user bonus.

Who this guide is for

US adults who already have — or are about to open — a Polymarket US account and want to turn on email or push alerts for fills, resolutions, or price moves: where notifications / alerts live if official help or the live settings name them, what you can actually subscribe to, and why an alert is not a fill. This is not how to turn on 2FA, not how to use a watchlist, not how to check when a market ends, and not how to read your Polymarket portfolio. Those pages are the login lock, the pin, the clock, and the filled row. This page is only the alert switch. Then we link out. Polymarket is the only live outbound on this page.

Where notifications / alerts live

Hard rule: if official US help names the control, we name it. If it does not, we describe the action — notifications, alerts, email, or push. Official Protect Your Account is the security page, not a bell list. Official How do I contact support? puts in-app chat inside account settings. Official Website vs App splits the international site from the US desk.

Official US help does not reprint a Notifications or Alerts tab

No named retail header

Official Protect Your Account, Official Place a Trade, Official Monitor Your Positions, and Official Glossary do not reprint a retail tab, tile, or definition labelled Notifications, Alerts, Email alerts, or Push on the swipe we checked. Official contact help puts in-app chat inside account settings. That is the named settings door — not a bell we invent. Official Website vs App: US residents sign in and trade in the Polymarket US app, not on polymarket.com. If the sports desk is hidden where you live, stop.

The action is in account settings — notifications, alerts, email, or push

Describe the action

Official US Two-Factor Authentication help and Official contact help both send you to account settings. That is the published US door for account controls. Official US pages we checked do not name a Notifications row inside it. If the live US app shows Notifications, Alerts, Email, Push, or a bell, use that live label. If the control is missing or named differently, stay on the live settings screen and do not hunt a header we invent.

Phone permission is a device lock — not a Polymarket fill

OS prompt, if it appears

If the live US app asks the phone for notification permission, that prompt is an operating-system control. Allowing it lets a push through if the app actually sends one. It does not buy size, rest a limit, or settle a ticket. Official US help does not print that OS dialog. We will not invent an iOS or Android menu path. Follow the live system label, then still confirm any in-app toggle.

International settings and Perps notifications are not the US desk

Official Website vs App · flagged

The international website can show a Settings → Notifications tab, and international docs name a Notifications feed for Perps. Official Website vs App: polymarket.com is a different product, and US residents cannot deposit or trade there. Perps is not the US event-contract swipe. We will not mash that tab, that API feed, a Telegram bot, or a third-party price-alert site onto the US app as if Place a Trade printed it. Confirm the live US control after KYC.

Official US docs · no invented Notifications tab · account settings · US app, not a third-party bot

What you can actually subscribe to

Official Orders & Trading names a fill. Official Market Resolution names the grade. Official Place a Trade says the mark moves in real time. None of those pages reprints a subscribe menu. Enable only what the live settings screen prints.

Only the toggles the live settings screen actually lists

No invented checkbox

Official US retail pages we checked do not reprint a subscribe list for fills, resolutions, or price moves. We will not invent those checkboxes. The action is: open the live notifications / alerts control, if it exists, and turn on only the rows that screen prints. If a type is missing, it is not a rail we add. Watch Portfolio, the opened ticket, and the resolution date instead.

Email versus push — follow the live channel, not a rail we type

Describe the channel

Official US help names Google or Apple as the login (Official Protect Your Account) and does not name a retail email-alert or push-alert rail. If the live settings screen shows Email, Push, both, or a different channel, use that live label. We will not invent SMS as a documented US alert rail, and we will not invent a digest schedule. A publisher newsletter is not this page — there is no sign-up form here.

Fills, resolutions, and price moves are three different events

Official docs name the events — not a subscribe menu

Official Orders & Trading: a fill is when size matches and you have a position. Official Market Resolution: the ticket grades after the official result is publicly confirmed. Official Place a Trade and Official Monitor Your Positions: the mark updates in real time as the book moves. Those are three published facts. They are not three named alert rows on the US pages we checked. If the live settings screen uses those words, follow that label. If it does not, do not treat a generic ping as all three.

Live toggles only · no invented fill / resolution / price-move checkbox · no newsletter form

An alert is not a fill

Official Monitor Your Positions is the filled ticket. Official Market Settlement is when Clearing updates Portfolio. A ping is a message. See how to read your Polymarket portfolio for the row — this page does not clone it.

A fill ping is a message — the position lives on Portfolio

Official Orders & Trading

Official Orders & Trading: once an order fills, you have a position. Official Monitor Your Positions: that row shows contracts held, average entry, current market price, and potential payout. A banner, badge, or email that says you traded is not that row. Confirm the filled ticket on Portfolio before you treat the ping as size you own. How to read your Polymarket portfolio is that screen. This page does not clone it.

A resolution ping is not pay, and not the end-time stamp

Official Market Resolution + Settlement

Official Market Resolution: resolution happens after the official result is publicly confirmed. Official Market Settlement: Polymarket Clearing then sets winners to $1.00 and losers to $0.00 and updates Portfolio. Official Browse Markets prints a resolution date on the card — that clock is How to check when a market ends. A “resolved” alert is none of those three. Close is not pay. We do not reprint a live minute-count.

A price-move ping is not a locked entry, and not a trade

A mark, not a swipe

Official Place a Trade: positions update in real time as prices change. Official Prices & Market Data: the book can still be Open while that mark moves. A ping that the cents changed does not rest a limit, does not spend cash, and does not lock a price. Watching a move is also not How to use a watchlist — a pin is a bookmark, not an alert. Do not tap Yes or No because a banner flashed. We do not reprint a live last trade.

Official Orders & Trading · ping ≠ fill ≠ grade ≠ pay · no live number

How to turn the alerts on

  1. Step 1

Stay on the Polymarket US app — not polymarket.com, and not a third-party alert tool

Official Website vs App: US residents sign in, deposit, and trade in the Polymarket US app; polymarket.com is a different product and US residents cannot deposit or trade there. Official What is Polymarket US? is the fiat, CFTC-regulated desk this page belongs to. Official Protect Your Account: sign in only through the official Polymarket app. A Telegram bot, a Discord webhook, or an international Settings → Notifications tab is not this desk. If the sports desk is hidden where you live, stop.

  2. Step 2

Open account settings and look for the live notifications / alerts control

Official US Two-Factor Authentication help and Official contact help: account settings is the published US door. Official Protect Your Account, Official Place a Trade, Official Monitor Your Positions, and Official Glossary do not reprint a retail tab labelled Notifications, Alerts, Email alerts, or Push on the swipe we checked. We will not invent that header. If the live app shows Notifications, Alerts, Email, Push, or a bell, use that live label. If no such control exists, do not invent a folder — confirm fills on Portfolio and clocks on the ticket.

  3. Step 3

Turn on only the channels and event rows the live screen actually prints

If the live settings list Email, Push, or both, enable the channel you will actually see. If they list fills, resolutions, price moves, or different words for those events, follow those live labels. Official US pages do not reprint that subscribe list, so we describe the action. We will not invent SMS, a cents threshold, or a digest time. Grant the phone’s notification permission only if the live app asks — that OS prompt is not a trade.

  4. Step 4

Treat every ping as a hint — confirm the fill, the grade, or the mark on the desk

Official Orders & Trading: a fill creates a position. Official Monitor Your Positions is that filled row. Official Market Resolution and Official Market Settlement are the grade and the later Clearing step. A banner is none of those. Open Portfolio after a fill ping. Read the resolution date and whether the book is still Open after a clock ping. Do not swipe because a price-move alert fired. We do not reprint a live number.

  5. Step 5

Leave 2FA, the watchlist, the end-time clock, and Portfolio to their own how-tos

How to turn on 2FA is the extra login factor — do that before you fund. How to use a watchlist is the pin so you can come back without hunting. How to check when a market ends is the resolution-date clock. How to read your Polymarket portfolio is cash, an open position, and an open order. This page is only the alert switch, and why a ping is not a fill. Event contracts can settle at zero. Trade only what you can afford to lose. Nothing here is investment advice.

Blocked and contested states

Reported unavailable as of June 2026: Arizona, Illinois, Massachusetts, Maryland, Michigan, Montana, Nevada and Ohio. That list is not a promise it stays still — litigation around sports event contracts in particular can narrow or shift access. If you are in a listed state, do not treat a ping as a market you can reopen or trade. If you are in Florida or another green-light state, still confirm account settings opens before you send money.

Age is 18+ with identity verification. That is a different gate from the 21+ / responsible-gambling frame on our DFS pages, because these are traded financial instruments. If you also want NFL DFS, start at the picks hub — a lineup notice there is not this alert. Compare platforms on the prediction-markets hub.

What you will not get from this page

A dollar welcome match, a paste-this promo code, a live fill count or price, an invented Notifications / Alerts tab, an invented fill / resolution / price-move checkbox, a cloned 2FA / watchlist / market-ends / portfolio walkthrough, a third-party Telegram or Discord hop, a newsletter form, or claim buttons for Kalshi, DraftKings, FanDuel, Underdog, Sleeper, PrizePicks, Hard Rock or BetRivers. We could not verify a standing official US welcome bonus on Polymarket’s own terms. Other publishers’ partner codes are theirs; we do not copy them. The honest user-facing line is still US access via CFTC-regulated QCEX — official US help does not reprint a Notifications tab, the action is account settings then the live notifications / alerts / email / push control if the app shows it, subscribe only to rows that screen prints, a ping is not a fill, and anything those public pages do not print is not a label we invent. Frequently Asked Questions

Does Polymarket US have a Notifications or Alerts tab?
Official Protect Your Account, Official Place a Trade, Official Monitor Your Positions, and Official Glossary do not reprint a retail tab, tile, or definition labelled Notifications, Alerts, Email alerts, or Push on the swipe we checked. We will not invent that header. Official contact help puts in-app chat inside account settings — that is the published settings door. If the live US app shows Notifications, Alerts, Email, Push, or a bell, use that live label. The only live claim on this page hops through /go/polymarket.
How do I turn on email or push alerts on Polymarket?
Open account settings in the Polymarket US app. Look for the live notifications / alerts control. If that screen lists Email, Push, or both, enable the channel you will actually see. Official US help does not name those channels as a retail alert rail, so we describe the action. Official Website vs App: do this in the US app, not on polymarket.com. A phone permission prompt is an OS control, not a fill.
Can I subscribe to fills, resolutions, or price moves?
Only if the live settings screen actually lists those events — or live words for them. Official Orders & Trading names a fill. Official Market Resolution names the grade. Official Place a Trade says the mark updates in real time. Official US retail pages we checked do not reprint those three as a subscribe menu. We will not invent the checkboxes. If a type is missing, confirm it on Portfolio or on the opened ticket instead of inventing a rail.
Is a Polymarket notification the same as a fill?
No. Official Orders & Trading: once an order fills, you have a position. Official Monitor Your Positions is that filled row — contracts held, average entry, current market, potential payout. A banner, badge, or email is a message. Confirm the position on Portfolio before you treat the ping as size you own. A resolution ping is not pay. A price-move ping is not a locked entry and not a trade.
Can I use the international Settings → Notifications tab or a third-party alert bot?
Official Website vs App: US residents browse and trade in the Polymarket US app, not on polymarket.com. The international Settings → Notifications tab and the international Perps Notifications docs are a different product. A Telegram, Discord, or third-party “Polymarket alerts” tool is not the US deposit-and-trade desk. We will not paste those onto the US swipe as if Place a Trade printed them. Confirm the live in-app control after KYC.
Is this the same as the 2FA, watchlist, market-ends, or portfolio how-to?
No. 2FA is the extra login factor — turn that on before you deposit. Watchlist is the pin so you can reopen a ticket without hunting. Market-ends is the resolution-date clock on the card. Portfolio is cash, an open position, and an open order. This page is only how to turn on email or push alerts if the live settings show them, what you can actually subscribe to, and why an alert is not a fill. We link out instead of cloning those click paths.
Can I turn on Polymarket notifications in every US state?
You can only use the US product where the desk is open. As of our June 2026 check Polymarket was reported unavailable in Arizona, Illinois, Massachusetts, Maryland, Michigan, Montana, Nevada and Ohio. Florida is a green-light state. Sports markets are the most legally contested category anywhere. Confirm the app still opens account settings before you treat a ping as a market you can trade.
Which claim button is actually live on this page?
Polymarket only. The claim button hops through /go/polymarket. There is no /go/kalshi, DraftKings, FanDuel, Underdog, Sleeper, PrizePicks, Hard Rock or BetRivers claim here. We do not invent tracking URLs.
Is there a Polymarket notifications bonus or promo code on this page?
No. We do not publish a dollar welcome or a promo code. Partner codes that appear on other sites belong to those publishers. Confirm any live terms in the Polymarket US app. If you open Polymarket through our link we may earn a commission at no extra cost to you — that is not a user bonus.
Is a Polymarket alert the same as a sportsbook bet-alert or an NFL DFS lineup notice?
No. Daily fantasy and sportsbooks are state-licensed gambling products — often 21+, with a 1-800-GAMBLER frame. A sportsbook “my bets” push or a DFS score notice is a house wager or a contest update. Event contracts are CFTC-regulated financial/derivatives products, typically 18+ with KYC. A ping is not a ticket you own. A filled contract can still settle at zero. There is no protected bonus floor.

Advertising disclosure: Polymarket links are affiliate links — we may earn a commission at no cost to you, which never affects our ratings. Kalshi, DraftKings, FanDuel, Underdog, Sleeper, PrizePicks, Hard Rock and BetRivers have no live outbound claim on this page. Event contracts are CFTC-regulated financial products, not gambling. Trading involves risk and you can lose money, including your entire stake. Not investment advice. 18+. DFS pages on this site use a separate 21+ / 1-800-GAMBLER frame.
