Who this guide is for
US adults whose Polymarket KYC has cleared — or is about to — and who now need the official US funding rails. The click-by-click account open lives in How to sign up for Polymarket (US 2026); the ID and hold-time walkthrough is How to complete Polymarket KYC. This page is only the deposit sequence. We cover the flow from Florida, which is a green-light state. If you are racing NFL Week 1, fund before Wednesday, September 9 — see the Week 1 prediction-markets checklist.
Official US funding methods
These three methods are the ones listed on official Polymarket US documentation. Limits and clearing times below are what those docs published — confirm the live deposit screen before you send money. We do not add Apple Pay, crypto, or other publishers’ on-ramps.
Debit card
Smaller first deposits
Daily limit $50,000 / day · 3–4 business days to fully clear
Official US docs: select Debit Card, enter the card details, then confirm. Per-transaction cap is listed at $25,000, with a $2,000,000 rolling 60-day limit. Debit deposits may be credited with instant buying power while the deposit is still processing. Withdrawals wait until the deposit fully clears.
Bank transfer (ACH)
Medium deposits from a linked bank
Daily limit $50,000 / day · 3–4 business days to fully clear
Official US docs: select Bank Transfer and link the account via Aeropay. Same published caps as debit ($25,000 per transaction, $50,000 per day, $2,000,000 over a rolling 60 days). Instant buying power may appear while ACH is processing. Withdrawals wait until the transfer fully clears.
Wire transfer
Larger deposits
Daily limit $1,000 minimum, no published max · Typically 1 business day after receipt and verification
Official US docs: select Wire Transfer, tap View Wire Instructions, and copy the live beneficiary, routing, and account details exactly. Include the full name and phone number linked to your Polymarket US account in the memo / FFC / FBO field. The published recipient is QC Clearing LLC. Third-party or joint-account wires are rejected. Confirm every field in-app before you send.
The US deposit sequence
-
Step 1
Confirm your state is not blocked — then finish KYC
US access is back, but it is not universal. As of our June 2026 check Polymarket was reported unavailable in Arizona, Illinois, Massachusetts, Maryland, Michigan, Montana, Nevada and Ohio. Florida is a green-light state. Official US docs require KYC before you can deposit or trade. If identity verification is still pending, stop here and use the KYC how-to.
-
Step 2
Open the US (QCEX) account through a tracked link
Use the claim button on this page so you enter the compliant US flow. Polymarket returned to the US in December 2025 via its CFTC-licensed QCEX acquisition. That is the legal on-ramp for US residents — not the old offshore, no-KYC wallet route.
-
Step 3
Open Profile, then Deposit, then Pay With
Official US docs: from the home screen tap the Profile icon at the bottom center, tap Deposit on your Profile page, then tap Pay With. Choose debit card, bank transfer (ACH), or wire transfer — those are the three methods listed on the official US on-ramp. We do not invent extra rails.
-
Step 4
Send funds from an account in your own name
Official US docs: all deposits must come from accounts in your own name and may be subject to verification checks. Name mismatches delay or reject the transfer. A publisher link is how this site is supported — it is not extra credit in your account.
-
Step 5
Read the live deposit screen, then size the first trade as risk capital
Limits, instant-buying-power rules, and wire instructions are set in-app and can change. We could not verify a standing official US welcome bonus on Polymarket’s own terms, and we do not republish other publishers’ partner codes. Event contracts can settle at zero. Trade only what you can afford to lose. Nothing here is investment advice.
Blocked and contested states
Reported unavailable as of June 2026: Arizona, Illinois, Massachusetts, Maryland, Michigan, Montana, Nevada and Ohio. That list is not a promise it stays still — litigation around sports event contracts in particular can narrow or shift access. If you are in a listed state, do not fund on the assumption the desk is open. If you are in Florida or another green-light state, still confirm the app lets you finish KYC and that the deposit screen actually appears before you send money.
Age is 18+ with identity verification. That is a different gate from the 21+ / responsible-gambling frame on our DFS pages, because these are traded financial instruments. Compare platforms on the prediction-markets hub and the seasonal NFL Prediction Markets 2026 guide.
What you will not get from this page
A dollar welcome match, a paste-this promo code, or a guaranteed first-trade credit. We could not verify a standing official US welcome bonus on Polymarket’s own terms. Other publishers’ partner codes are theirs; we do not copy them. The honest user-facing line is still US access via CFTC-regulated QCEX — fund with debit, ACH, or wire and confirm live terms in-app. Last verified August 8, 2026.
Polymarket also runs a separate in-app referral that can share trading fees with qualifying traders. That program is between you and Polymarket. We do not treat it as a deposit offer.
