How to Deposit on Polymarket (US 2026)

Add funds on the public US deposit flow. Official help names Profile, Deposit, and Pay With — Confirm is not a sportsbook match.

By Scott · Last verified August 8, 2026

Trading involves risk — a deposit is not a floor

Polymarket offers CFTC-regulated event contracts: financial/derivatives products, not sportsbook bets and not daily fantasy. You can lose money, including your entire stake. Adding funds does not unwind a losing ticket and is not investment advice. For adults 18+ with KYC. Sports markets are the most contested category; state availability can change. DFS pages on this site use a separate 21+ / 1-800-GAMBLER frame — do not mix the two.

Advertising disclosure: the claim button is an affiliate link. We may earn a commission if you sign up through it, at no extra cost to you. That never changes our ratings, and it is not a user bonus.

Who this guide is for

US adults whose Polymarket KYC has cleared — or is about to — and who now need to add funds on the public US deposit flow: how official help labels that cashier, what you actually tap or send, and why Confirm is not a sportsbook deposit-match. This is not how to add a payment method, not how to cancel a deposit, not how to withdraw, not how to tell cash from buying power, not how to read your portfolio, not how to read trade history, not how to read a combo ticket, and not how to tell the website from the CLOB. Those pages are the attach step, the pending-vs-posted walk, the off-ramp, the withdrawable-versus-tied-up split, the filled-position list, completed trades, a bundled instrument, and the matching layer. This page is only sending money onto the US desk. Then we link out. Polymarket is the only live outbound on this page.

How the public US deposit flow is labeled

Hard rule: if official US help names a control, we name it. If a chip is not on those pages, we describe the action. Official Fund Your Account and official Deposit Methods are the published cashier copy.

Profile, then Deposit, then Pay With

Official Fund Your Account

Official Fund Your Account and Official Deposit Methods: from the home screen, tap the Profile icon at the bottom center, tap Deposit on your Profile page, then tap Pay With. That is the published US door for adding funds. Official debit, ACH, and wire pages call the same picker Funding Methods. We will not invent a second cashier tab those pages do not print. If the live US app already says Wallet, Add funds, or Funding Methods, use that live word.

Three published rails — debit, ACH, wire

Official Deposit Methods

Official Fund Your Account and Official Deposit Methods list debit card, bank transfer (ACH), and wire transfer. Official Debit Card help: select Debit Card. Official Bank Transfer (ACH) help: select Bank Transfer, then link via Aeropay. Official Wire Transfer help: select Wire Transfer, then tap View Wire Instructions. Those are the labels public US consumer help prints. Official consumer Fund Your Account does not list a crypto wallet, Apple Pay, or PayPal. If the live Pay With screen shows a method those pages do not name, follow the live label — we will not name a fourth rail for you.

Confirm on debit and ACH. View Wire Instructions on a wire.

Official Debit / ACH / Wire help

Official Debit Card and Official Bank Transfer (ACH): enter the amount, review the transaction details, then tap Confirm. Official Wire Transfer: tap View Wire Instructions, copy the live beneficiary, routing, and account fields exactly, include the full name and phone number linked to your Polymarket US account in the memo / message / FFC / FBO field, then send from your bank. Official consumer help does not reprint a retail button labelled Deposit Now on the swipe we checked. We will not invent one. Confirm, or send the wire, is the add-funds click. Attaching the rail first is a different how-to.

Official Profile · Deposit · Pay With / Funding Methods · Confirm or View Wire Instructions

What you actually do to add funds

Official Debit Card, official Bank Transfer (ACH), and official Wire Transfer are the send steps. Official Website vs App keeps that send inside the US app. We name those actions. We do not reprint a live dollar.

Use the US app — not polymarket.com

Official Website vs App

Official Website vs App (June 25, 2026): Polymarket.com is the international website; US residents must use the Polymarket US app; US users cannot deposit funds or place trades on the website. Official What is Polymarket US? is the CFTC-regulated designated contract market this cashier belongs to. How to tell the website from the CLOB is the matching-layer split, not this funding door. If a control is labelled differently in-app, follow the live screen. If the sports desk is hidden where you live, stop.

Send from an account in your own name

Official Fund Your Account + Wire Transfer

Official Fund Your Account: all deposits must come from accounts in your own name and may be subject to verification checks. Official Wire Transfer: the bank-account name must match your Polymarket US account; third-party or joint-account wires will be rejected; wires are reviewed under AML and KYC rules. Official Deposit Troubleshooting: all deposits are subject to KYC and AML checks, and those reviews can delay availability. A name mismatch is not a sportsbook “pending deposit” you can just wait out — it can reject the transfer.

Enter an amount and Confirm — or send the live wire

Official Debit / ACH / Wire help

Official “Why can’t I withdraw my promotional credit?” splits “link a payment method” from “make an initial deposit.” Official Debit Card: enter card information if it is not already attached, enter the deposit amount, review, tap Confirm. Official Bank Transfer (ACH): link via Aeropay if needed, enter the amount, review, tap Confirm. Official Wire Transfer: View Wire Instructions, then send from a U.S. bank using the live fields. We do not reprint a dollar cap, a wire account number, or a minimum here. Confirm the live deposit screen before you send money.

After Confirm: instant buying power is not a cleared deposit

Official Debit / ACH + Check Your Balance

Official Debit Card and Official Bank Transfer (ACH): you may start trading with instant buying power while the deposit is still processing; the rest of the funds become available once the deposit fully clears. Official Fund Your Account: withdrawals wait until that deposit has fully cleared. Official Check Your Balance: deposits appear as cash; withdrawals come only from cash not tied to an open position, and they return to the original deposit source. Official consumer pages publish caps and clearing windows on those help articles — we will not paste those numbers here as if they were a live balance. How to tell cash from buying power is that split.

How to add funds

  1. Step 1

Confirm the US (QCEX) app is open where you live — then finish KYC

This add-funds walk is for the compliant US product, not the international crypto desk. Official Website vs App: US residents deposit in the Polymarket US app; they cannot deposit on polymarket.com. Official US docs require Know Your Customer checks before you can deposit or trade. As of our June 2026 check Polymarket was reported unavailable in Arizona, Illinois, Massachusetts, Maryland, Michigan, Montana, Nevada and Ohio. Florida is a green-light state. If identity is still in review, stop — How to complete Polymarket KYC. Age is 18+ with KYC, not the 21+ / 1-800-GAMBLER frame on our DFS pages.

  2. Step 2

Open Profile, then Deposit, then Pay With — or the live Funding Methods label

Official Fund Your Account: from the home screen tap the Profile icon at the bottom center, tap Deposit on your Profile page, then tap Pay With. Official debit, ACH, and wire pages name that picker Funding Methods. Official Website vs App: that path is the US app, not a browser tab pointed at polymarket.com. If the live screen says Add funds, Wallet, or Funding Methods, use the live control. We will not invent a second Settings cashier.

  3. Step 3

Pick one official rail — debit card, Bank Transfer (ACH), or Wire Transfer

Official consumer Fund Your Account lists those three. Official Debit Card: select Debit Card and enter card information if it is not already attached. Official Bank Transfer (ACH): select Bank Transfer and link via Aeropay if the bank is not already linked. Official Wire Transfer: select Wire Transfer, then tap View Wire Instructions. How to add a payment method is only the attach step. This page is the send. Official consumer help does not list crypto, Apple Pay, or PayPal on Fund Your Account. If the live Pay With screen shows a method those pages do not name, follow the live label.

  4. Step 4

Add the funds — Confirm on debit or ACH, or send the live wire from your own bank

Official Debit Card and Official Bank Transfer (ACH): enter the deposit amount, review the transaction details, then tap Confirm. Official Wire Transfer: copy the live View Wire Instructions exactly — beneficiary, routing, account — and include the full name and phone number linked to your Polymarket US account in the memo / message / FFC / FBO field, then send from a U.S. bank in your own name. Official consumer help does not reprint a Deposit Now chip on the swipe we checked. We will not invent one, and we will not reprint a fee, a cap, or a wire account number. Confirm every field on the live screen before you send.

  5. Step 5

Stop and read the result — cash, instant buying power, and withdrawals are later how-tos

Official Debit Card and Official ACH help: instant buying power may appear while the deposit is still processing. Official Check Your Balance: deposits appear as cash; you can trade that cash or, after the deposit fully clears, withdraw it back to the original source. Official Deposit Troubleshooting: a pending debit may need a refresh; a pending ACH is still clearing; a missing memo can stall a wire — support is support@polymarket.us or in-app chat. How to tell cash from buying power is that split. How to cancel a deposit is the pending-vs-posted walk. How to withdraw is the off-ramp. Event contracts can settle at zero. Trade only what you can afford to lose. Nothing here is investment advice.

This is not a portfolio row, a combo ticket, or the matching book

Official Monitor Your Positions is contracts you already hold. That live list lives on How to read your portfolio on Polymarket. Official Glossary History is past filled orders and closed positions — How to read trade history on Polymarket. Official Combos is a bundled instrument with listed legs, not a deposit match — How to read a combo or parlay-style ticket on Polymarket. Official What is Polymarket US names the central limit order book under the swipe — How to tell the website from the CLOB on Polymarket. This page will not invent a US Deposit Now chip, and it will not reprint a live cash figure.

Attaching the rail first is How to add a payment method on Polymarket. A pending debit, ACH, or wire you want to stop is How to cancel a deposit on Polymarket. Sending settled cash back off the desk is How to withdraw from Polymarket. We do not clone those pages.

Blocked and contested states

Reported unavailable as of June 2026: Arizona, Illinois, Massachusetts, Maryland, Michigan, Montana, Nevada and Ohio. That list is not a promise it stays still — litigation around sports event contracts in particular can narrow or shift access. If you are in a listed state, do not send money on the assumption the desk is open. If you are in Florida or another green-light state, still confirm the app lets you finish KYC and that Deposit / Pay With actually appears before you Confirm or send a wire.

Age is 18+ with identity verification. That is a different gate from the 21+ / responsible-gambling frame on our DFS pages, because these are traded financial instruments. If you also want NFL DFS, start at the picks hub — those cashier and deposit-match rules do not carry over. Compare platforms on the prediction-markets hub.

What you will not get from this page

A dollar welcome match, a paste-this promo code, a reprinted fee or daily-cap table, a wire routing or account number, a live cash figure, an invented Deposit Now chip official US swipe pages do not print, a cloned payment-method / cancel-deposit / withdraw / portfolio / trade-history / combo / website-vs-CLOB walkthrough, a newsletter form, or claim buttons for Kalshi, DraftKings, FanDuel, Underdog, Sleeper, PrizePicks, Hard Rock or BetRivers. We could not verify a standing official US welcome bonus on Polymarket’s own terms. Other publishers’ partner codes are theirs; we do not copy them. The honest user-facing line is still US access via CFTC-regulated QCEX — official Fund Your Account names Profile → Deposit → Pay With, official Deposit Methods lists debit, ACH, and wire, official Debit and ACH ask you to Confirm an amount, official Wire Transfer asks you to copy live View Wire Instructions from an account in your own name, instant buying power is not a cleared withdrawal, this is not sportsbook or investment advice, and anything those public pages do not print is not a label or a number we invent. Frequently Asked Questions

How is the public US deposit flow labeled on Polymarket?
Official Fund Your Account: Profile icon at the bottom center, then Deposit on your Profile page, then Pay With. Official debit, ACH, and wire pages call that picker Funding Methods. Official Deposit Methods lists Debit Card, Bank Transfer (ACH), and Wire Transfer. Official Debit Card and Official ACH then ask you to tap Confirm. Official Wire Transfer asks you to tap View Wire Instructions. If the live US app prints Add funds, Wallet, or another cashier word those pages do not, use the live label. We will not invent a second header. The only live claim on this page hops through /go/polymarket.
What does a user actually do to add funds?
Finish KYC, open the US app, open Profile → Deposit → Pay With, pick debit, Bank Transfer (ACH), or Wire Transfer, then send. Official Debit Card and Official ACH: enter the amount, review, tap Confirm. Official Wire Transfer: copy the live View Wire Instructions and send from a U.S. bank in your own name, with your full name and phone number in the memo / FFC / FBO field. Official Fund Your Account: deposits must come from accounts in your own name. We do not reprint a fee, a cap, or a live cash figure.
Is depositing the same as adding a payment method?
No. Official “Why can’t I withdraw my promotional credit?” lists “link a payment method” and then “make an initial deposit” as two steps. Official Debit Card and Official ACH attach the source, then ask for an amount and Confirm. Official Wire Transfer opens View Wire Instructions, then you send from your bank. Linking or opening instructions is How to add a payment method on Polymarket. This page is the Confirm / send.
Do I need to finish KYC before I can deposit?
Yes. Official US docs require Know Your Customer checks before you can deposit funds or trade. Official Deposit Troubleshooting: deposits are also subject to AML reviews, which can delay availability. If you are still in review, wait for the in-app or email notice. The identity walkthrough is How to complete Polymarket KYC.
Can I deposit from a joint account or someone else’s card?
No. Official Fund Your Account requires deposits from accounts in your own name. Official Wire Transfer adds that third-party or joint-account wires will be rejected, and that the bank-account name must match your Polymarket US account. Use the same legal name you already verified.
When can I trade after a deposit — and when can I withdraw?
Official Debit Card and Official Bank Transfer (ACH): you may start trading with instant buying power while the deposit is still processing; the rest of the funds become available once the deposit fully clears. Official Fund Your Account: withdrawals wait until that deposit has fully cleared. Official Check Your Balance: withdrawals come only from cash not tied to an open position, and they return to the original deposit source. Official pages publish clearing windows on those help articles — confirm the live screen instead of treating a number on this page as a clock. How to tell cash from buying power is that split. How to withdraw is the off-ramp.
Is this the same as reading your portfolio, trade history, a combo ticket, or website vs CLOB?
No. Portfolio is the live open-position list. Trade history is completed fills. A combo / parlay-style ticket is a bundled instrument with listed legs. Website vs CLOB splits the public surface you tap from the matching book. This page is only how to add funds on the public US deposit flow: how that flow is labeled, what you actually do to Confirm or send, and that this is not sportsbook or investment advice. We link out instead of cloning those walks.
Is depositing on Polymarket the same as funding a sportsbook or DFS account?
No. Official What is Polymarket US: these are CFTC-regulated event contracts on a central limit order book — financial/derivatives products, not a house sportsbook ticket and not daily fantasy. The age line is 18+ with KYC. A deposit here is not a sportsbook deposit-match, and there is no DFS-style rollover protecting a floor. See prediction markets vs sportsbooks if you wanted that house cashier. Nothing here is sportsbook advice or investment advice.
Can I deposit on Polymarket in every US state?
No. As of our June 2026 check Polymarket was reported unavailable in Arizona, Illinois, Massachusetts, Maryland, Michigan, Montana, Nevada and Ohio. Florida is a green-light state. Official Website vs App: US residents use the Polymarket US app. Confirm the app still lets you finish KYC and that Deposit / Pay With actually appears before you send money.
Which claim button is actually live on this page?
Polymarket only. The claim button hops through /go/polymarket. There is no /go/kalshi, DraftKings, FanDuel, Underdog, Sleeper, PrizePicks, Hard Rock or BetRivers claim here. We do not invent tracking URLs.
Is there a Polymarket deposit bonus or promo code on this page?
No. We do not publish a dollar welcome or a promo code. Partner codes that appear on other sites belong to those publishers. Confirm any live terms in the Polymarket US app. If you open Polymarket through our link we may earn a commission at no extra cost to you — that is not a user bonus.
Is adding funds on Polymarket the same as depositing into an NFL DFS lineup?
No. Daily fantasy is a state-licensed gambling product — often 21+, with a 1-800-GAMBLER frame. Event contracts are CFTC-regulated financial/derivatives products, typically 18+ with KYC. A deposit becomes cash you can put on a Yes or No. That contract can still settle at zero. There is no protected bonus floor.

Advertising disclosure: Polymarket links are affiliate links — we may earn a commission at no cost to you, which never affects our ratings. Kalshi, DraftKings, FanDuel, Underdog, Sleeper, PrizePicks, Hard Rock and BetRivers have no live outbound claim on this page. Event contracts are CFTC-regulated financial products, not gambling. Trading involves risk and you can lose money, including your entire stake. Not investment advice. 18+. DFS pages on this site use a separate 21+ / 1-800-GAMBLER frame.
